Guest guest
Hi All, just got back from a long day at Mom's, we mowed her lawn, weed eat'd the lawn for her, or should I say my husband did, fixed her computer it was running real slow, needed to be cleaned up a bit, etc. . . .Me and Mom took off to Home Depot leaving my hubby to tend to dad and we purchased and we installed a cover over the main AC control box that has a key to lock it, hopefully he will not pull it off the wall, but Mom had to do something to prevent him from tampering with the control box as he burned out her fan motor doing it and now it is costing her some money to fix the main AC unit fan motor. Then we also installed an alarm for her back door, dad keeps opening it during the night and leaving it open until Mom finds it open. OMG if someone was to go in their house while she is asleep or not able to see them enter. Hopefully he will NOT rip that off the wall as well. Mom is going to save up some more money and next will be alarms for his bedroom door with a beam on it and an alarm for the refrigerator. His feet are still severely swollen, he can't even wear socks, but he seems to be moving around on them okay, he never complained about them or anything while I was there. Looking forward to his upcoming doctor's visit and getting that referral to see why his feet have balloon'd up since the water pills are not working. He was doing what Mom calls " Show Time " , basically be on his best behavior and not acting bad or too dumb. It actually pissed Mom off and irritated her for him not to act up, as she seems to want to prove by someone else seeing him act up, that he is mis-behaving as if I don't believe her, ha ha ha ha. " I believe you Mom " . . . Anyhow, she had a great visit with my one year daughter so that was very uplifting for her to have a good visit with her, helps when the toddler is in a good mood, ha ha ha ha . . . . So got some good things accomplished today that should have made for a fairly good day for Mom. Hope you had a good day Mom . . . Anyone else resorting to lock boxes over controls, hiding remotes and or alarms on doors, etc.??? Tammy
