Guest guest
Well I stayed the same this week, no loss, no gain. I am ok with that...alright it took me all day to get ok with it but I am now. I am learning so much about me right now. Pizza is BAD for me LOL!! I have very little if any self control around it. Kielbasa is also BAD for me. Once again no self control. I can handle candy but not those two foods. I need to be eating more as I am getting hungry towards the end of the day. I like to work out. I have had 4 activity days in 7 days and that to me is good. I am using the new Firm tapes and I really like the cardio one. I don't care for the ab one and haven't done the body sculpt one yet. I am one my way to onederland though!! 215/203/130 Started October 16, 2002 Thanksgiving challenge 202 pounds!

Pizza dough is no more fattening than regular bread, season some tomato sauce with italian seasoning and garlic, and it's free. Find a low-fat motzarella that you can tolerate, and add plenty of veggies. You can make a pizza so that it's only 3-4 points a slice, and most people are satisfied with 3 slices or so. Another way is to limit what you make... use an English muffin instead of dough, and you'll only make 2 pieces at a time. That way, in order to eat more you'd have to actually make another piece, and we're less likely to do that than go back to a carboard box. Healthy Choice makes a Kielbasa that's only 3 points for a good size link. Even if you lose it, and eat the whole pack <g>, it's only 12 points or so. Not the best idea, but far better than the regular variety, and it tastes really good. Just some ideas on how to take troublesome foods and make them less damaging without taking them completely out of your life. Sometimes, it's about finding creative substitutes - fat free instead of regular, sugar free instead of regular, etc. Sometimes, it's true, you have to just let a food go (most of the time). Lasagna and encheladas are two foods I have to avoid. They are made in casseroles (so there's always a lot of them) and because of the cheese content they are inevitably higher in points than I'd prefer. So... I order a soft taco or make 2 encheladas at a time from rolling a couple of soft tacos up and pouring on some enchelada sauce <g> - it works. Same thing with Lasagna - I either buy a controlled portion (like the lean cuisine) or I order the spaghetti - it's less damaging to me. The whole point of WW is finding a way to adapt you life so that you can do this forever. Fiddle around with it, and see what you come up with. Creative substituting can take you a long ways, and really stretch those points. -Crys- WW to date: 171.4 / 145.0 / 140 (-27.2) Thanksgiving Challenge: 147.8 / 145.0 / 140 (-2.8) Christmas Challenge: 147.8 / 145.0 / 135.0 (-2.8) If you want to be somebody else...
