After all the detox I've done, I was a little bummed after testing

high in mercury recently. My ozone dentist/naturopath said it's

actually a good sign, that the mercury is moving and not embedded. So

my doc has me on a protocol that sounds similar to Cutler's... 4

caps/day of DMSA (according to weight) with 600 mg ALA, 3 gr Vitamin

C, and 1-3mg of melatonin. Two weeks on, two weeks off for three

months, at which time I'll test again. I'll update then.

I have had my 13 mercury-toxic, fillings removed. I did not get them

removed correctly, and I felt much worse afterwards. But, then again, I

started

taking buffered Vitamin C, and it really took that bad feeling away quickly. I

also was on a slew of supplements then and now, which allow me to live as

normals. I do not regret it, and would do it again. I was drowning in mercury

with all those fillings out-gassing. Anyhow, I am really writing to let you

know that after much research and fear of harming my children, I did not

start chelating until I found modified citrus pectin. Well I did use EDTA and

glutathione before, but it caused too many side effects for me. I have been

taking modified citrus pectin (Pectasol) a few weeks now, and I have been

noticing improvement, but note that this has to be taken for many months, just

like formal chelation techniques because its a slow process. Anyhow, I

totally, at this point, am recommending it. It supposedly has no side effects,

being made from citrus pulp. I give it to all in my family. I have extreme

difficulty eliminating toxins, so I started out with just one pill every other

day. After a week, I am able to do one pill everyday. I am starting with one

pill twice a day tomorrow. The very first day on it, everyone felt

depressed, but it starts to subside right away. Mercury-moving is just plain

difficult. We also got an increase in yeast as one gets with mercury

chelation, so

take a yeast inhibitor.

Hi Arlene. Ginger said that she had several teeth with more than one filling.

I was surprised because I don't know anyone with that many fillings. I wonder

if you were exposed to mercury while you worked with a dentist. I hope not.

Just for clarification, Ginger could have 35 fillings. I was a dental assistant

when I was 18, but I never forgot the letters that represent the 5 surfaces on

the teeth that can have cavities. M,O,D,F,L Mesial, Distal, Occlusal, Facial and

Lingual.

So, you can up to five fillings on one molar.

Just a fun fact for a lull in conversation!

Arlene,

It sounds like you had a good bit of mercury exposure, so its likely you have a

high body burden.   Some are good mercury excreters and have less problems-

genetically blood allele type 2.   Type 4s don't excrete mercury and store

it.   But type 4s although they have high body burdens have hardly any in hair

test.  Is that what you were using to assume that you don't have much

mercury?   Hair test level is not accurate for body burden.  As noted before,

what you look at is essential mineral distribution in the hair test.   Mercury

causes cell membrane permeability changes and poor absorption of minerals and

enzymatic/metabolic blockages.   This shows up in the pattern of essential

mineral imbances on the hair test.  See Andy Cutler's hair test protocol.
