Bernie,

Have you attended one of these workshops or gotten more details on this

" Metabolic Approach " or talked to any families who have used it? I'm

curious

about it but can't seem to get more details out of Pat -- not even

enough to

let me know if it would be worth attending one of her workshops which

are

pretty pricey. The brochure she sent out was pretty vague.

My son has had about 10 NAET treatments from a doctor a couple

of hours away. Too far to do regularly with out schedule. I don't have

much personal experience to offer. My daughter who is a massage

therapist and college student met Pat at my NAET doctors office at a

symposium.

Dear Gaylen,

I've corresponded with Pat every so often for a few years. It's hard to say

about her approach and effectiveness, not having used her as a practitioner.

She's in Orlando and I'm half the country away. It makes more sense to me,

though, than the normal protocol of NAET and I think she has extensive

experience. We'd be seeing her if we lived closer. I've been practically

begging her to tape a symposium, even offering to transcribe it in order to

put together the beginnings of a book. She does seem a bit overextended. On

another list, she said that chelation would go much easier if a child was

treated for mercury first, the idea being to eliminate the possible immune

response when the mercury moves around and leaves the body.

There is a new book out by Ellen Cutler - The Food Allergy Cure - that

finally describes how to do the technique yourself. Ellen is a chiropractor

who learned NAET and branched off. She says many of the allergies go away

without having to treat each one individually if certain body systems are

treated first. I'd rather be using an expert practitioner, but that's hard

to come by, so I'm going to give this a try.
