Guest guest
Hi Donna- Interesting you should write. I have been meaning to write to you as I thought your second knee surgery would be coming up soon. Love when this sort of thing happens. You are officially on my calendar and prayers will go up for your surgery. Hugs back at ya- Sandie ----- Re: Tight fist and a fetal position Date: Mon, 15 Mar 2010 03:24:25 -0000 Hi Sandie, Thanks for your reply. So now I know that just because Don is still walking, does not mean he is out of the woods. Don is very thin. The kids commented about it today. He eats very good. I have his bowel regulated, and it is good. But, he is still loosing a little more weight all along. He has weighed 200 lbs. But, held his weight at 185 for years. Now, it is 143, and he is a tall man, about 6'2 " now, maybe 6'1 " . He is so stooped over it is difficult to tell. I think eating is one of the biggest signs to look for in how he is really doing. And, he is eating well. Thanks again, Sandie, with love, Imogene > > > > > > Hi everyone, > > > > > > Marilyn, I am glad things are working out. Have any of you experineced your LO in a fetal position and the fist are tightly clinched, then have to help get them open and get him up, and after getting his sea legs, he is able to walk just fine? > > > > > > My Don has been doing this for almost three weeks. I thought when a person started doing those things (clinching fist and going into a fetal position) that they were close to the end. Yet, how can he get up (with help) and move around without any trouble? He doesn't seem a bit close to the end to me. > > > > > > We have Hospice now, for all the help they are so far. I had to send the bathing girl away this morning because she was wearing heavy perfume. We told her I would get sick from it. She must have forgotten. She said I only have on a little bit. I told her it only takes a bee sting to kill some people, and that is just a little bit. > > > > > > Love you all, and waiting for an answer, > > > Imogene > > > > > > > > > > ------------------------------------ > > Welcome to LBDcaregivers. > >
