Guest guest
Hi all, Since February of this year, I have noticed that Dad is increasingly agitated and has hit me once. He constantly paces for hours on end.. then sleeps once he has tired himself out... Nothing I do seems to help. I try to interact with him but he focuses on constant pacing.. saying that he was " told " to do it... I'm able to handle the pacing as long as he isnt opening anything or disturbing items. He does have some urinary incontinence, so he is in Depends all the time, but over the past couple of weeks he has had bowel incontinence and not know it.. I'm trying to see if this is a pattern or does this mean he is getting worse.. He seems to not understand instructions.. even simple instruction s such as go to the table and eat .. seem to be ignored.. He has an appointment with his psych next week and I have been documenting the behaviors to discuss with her. Anyone else going thru this?.. yn taking care of Dad 73 y/o dx in 2007 with LBD currently on Geodon.. uses Seroquel occasional with mixed results
