Hi Dear Pammie, if your mother went off Tarazadone suddenly will that hurt

her? You may have to slowly taper off. I would most assuredly talk to her

Doctor.

But, for my part I would go with Seroquel in a heart beat if she can

handle it. Don sleeps all night now on 50mg. (but start out low) Also, I give

him 25 mg at noon now and he sleeps all afternoon, and is never edgy, or

antsy.

Hello, my friends, new and old. Pammy, here. I don't talk often but know

that I am always behind the scenes, reading and sometimes popping in with

a

thought or a question.

Well, I have a question this time and it's about Seroquel. Mother takes

Tarazadone at night and has for over two years now. It was enough to help

her

to sleep. But now my dad says that during the last week she has been

keeping him up most of the nights. From what I have read here Seroquel is

a sleep

aid? Should I see about increasing her dosage on the Tarazadone or replace

it with Seroquel? What dosage is a good one to start out with?

Thanks for all your help and support. We are all such a great part of such

a wonderful group and I am so proud and relieved to be a part of it.
