Guest guest
Thank you for the good advice. My son-in-law seems to be sleeping really well with this medication. His days are mostly better now as he was so exhausted before. But he gets a very bad sundowners time. He had a UTI in December and he finished his antibiotic into January and seems to be doing very well in that area. He will be seeing the new primary care physician on monday, My daughter is picking up all of his records from the previous primary care doctor and taking them with her to the new doctor appointment. His neurologist is already working on the referral to the LBD specialist clinic in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Dr Kaufer, the doctor who runs the clinic in Univ of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, is a neurology and Psychiatric specialist. He has written boks or articles about LBD for other professionals.. If shows any signs of the bad side effects that are possible with the drug Temazepam. we can take him off of it. I was mostly worried about the addictive nature of the drug. Since all the literature says that 50% of LBD patients may be sensitive to the drug, It seems , so far as if he is in the 50% that are OK with it. Possibly because he isn't elderly yet. He is a middle-aged man, former military, in good shape and not overweight. But I do thank everyone who responded to me., Genelda
