Guest guest
<<I've been so " good " with food lately>> Lyssa, I can totally identify with you. I have been good ever since I've had the problems with keeping food down. Well yesterday had been two weeks since I had my food come up. What do I do? Take a little bit of ice cream. Wow, what a wake up call. I felt awful for about an hour and then I finally dumped. Needless to say, that was my final venture with ice cream. Guest guest
Ugh yell at me please .. Ive been so " good " with food lately .. and I decided to make chocolate chip cookies for my daughter's class tomorrow. Of course I thought I had better taste one .. well normally some sugar doesn't bother me .. and of course my old brain said eat the whole thing which I did .. then about 10 minutes later ugh .. my tummy did not feel too good and I sorta had a sweet sick feeling in my mouth .. its passing now .. didn't last too long but UGH!! I can't believe I did that. Well I'm not going to beat myself over about it but give myself a gentle nudge and reminder that I need to re-think those impulse thoughts! Guest guest
I guess we could look at it like this .. that these little reminders keep us on the path and remind us what its like to feel icky .. I feel better now but I won't do that again! Well at least not for a long time LOL I'm glad to hear that you're not bringing your food up anymore .. except for the dumping. Did they ever figure out what was causing it or was it put down to food sensitivities? Hugs Lyssa Re: Blech. <<I've been so " good " with food lately>> Lyssa, I can totally identify with you. Guest guest
<<could you be low in potassium? or b12? low bp?>> Lyssa, I never thought about low blood pressure. Mine has always been low but not extremely low. Whenever I have mine taken the nurse always compliments me. Maybe it's a little too low now. I have also been extremely tired this whole week. I don't know if that's related or not. I'm going to see if the tiredness is lessened. If not, I suppose Dr. Reines will once again be hearing from me. I did have some blood drawn on Friday for him, I know he will call me if there is something in the results that he doesn't like, he always does! Guest guest
<<eat boullion or dill pickles to ease dizzies>> Carla, Everyone seem to recommend the same thing, it must work. I'm going to give the boullion a try. I would love a pickle, but due to the coumadin that I'm on, the skin on the cucumber can affect it. I am so craving one now that everyone has said to try it. lol Thanks for everyones responses, I'm feeling better now. Hopefully it was just a one time thing.
