virus/adware/spyware called Security Tool OT but very important newest virus out there for your puter

Hello, we got a terrible virus on donnies login on the desktop, it didnt affect

my login, we are both adminstrators on the computer,  it was called Security

Tool, it will make your desktop and folders disappear, sometimes you can get

online sometimes you can,t  after hours of headaches and phonecalls, to

cable, to McAfee who cox offers as security, to several adware removal programs

that cox recommended but they each wanted $90 to uninstall it ONCE on the

computer.  after getting on my laptop and using bing i entered, how to uninstall

security tool and came up with several places of suggestions,  this is the one

that worked for us,    

restart computer and hit f8 as it is restarting to put computer in safe mode,

then go to system restore and restore your computer back at least 24 hours, do

not let your computer pick first safe mode becusae the security tool set that as

the first safe date, you need to go back at eleast one more,  and then the

system will automatically restart and it should be gone, it was for us, and so

far no repurcussions, iplease print this email in case you need it, as it is too

frustrating to not know how to deal with it, hugs. to all,   sharon
