Guest guest
What inspires you to do well on your journey to weightloss? What keeps you going? What makes you think you can achieve your goals? I know they say to do this for yourself but to be honest I'm not doing it for me at all. I want to see my grand daughter come home from Germany in 3 years, I want to see the faces of my friends when I go across that stage for my first circle of lights, and dang it I want to be able to go buy me the prettiest white dress you ever seen !!! Well, maybe I am doing this for me just not the right reasons, like to be healthier and happy. Guest guest
Two years ago I looked at my grandchildren, the oldest was 5 at the time, I realized how much I want to see them grow up. It will be several years, I am 59, (57 then) and not getting younger. If I don't take care of myself, I will never be able to see them grow up. I now have 4 grandchildren and am glad I have lost my weight and intend to Keep It Off Sensibly!Melody Moris wrote: hmmm..this question came through on another list - and I thought wow! what a great question! even tho it IS one of those that makes yer brain smoke!! Guest guest
>>>MELODY WROTE>>>What inspires you to do well on your journey to weightloss? Probably, for me, inspiration comes from seeing and hearing about other people who have battled obesity and lost weight. Also, just as gaining can cause someone to become discouraged, losing a couple of pounds can be encouraging and inspire one to want to lose more. The feeling of accomplishment that comes from having lost weight, and not to mention the physical changes that occur, are soooo very motivating. I love the feeling of clothes becoming baggier. It reminds me that I am losing weight and can continue to lose if I keep on making healthier choices. What keeps you going? The encouragement from my fellow TOPS members and my husband and teenagers inspires me to want to lose more. What makes you think you can achieve your goals? --Think??? I KNOW that I can achieve my goals! I'm worth it! And I have the support of my TOPS pals and family behind me. Good question, Melody. Thanks.
