Hi everyone,

I haven't posted in a bit but have been okay. I still haven't gotten

the courage up to call my doctor for a monitor but will this coming

week. I found out that the medication I was given for epilepsy is

causing some depression, so I'll be calling to change that. I am

going to change the follow up appointment that I have in March to my

primary doctor, I have been seeing one of his partners for the

diabetes/epilepsy and just haven't been happy. I'm sure he's good

for colds and flu but just not the " tough stuff " . I usually don't

have trouble advicating for myself and am surprised at my mousie

reaction to this doctor.

On my shift at the plastics factory they are working us like dogs.

The attitude is " you're lucky to even have a job, so deal with it. "

My supervisor is the biggest offender. He told me he is very unhappy

with my performance, and doesn't think that running 3 machines, being

lead operator (answering a ton of questions and getting supplies) and

checking all the paperwork at all of the machines 3 times a night

should be a problem. He's nuts!! I found out that he sleeps in the

conferance room a few hours each night!! The good thing is that I

haven't let this ruin my life. I'm still following the ADA diet and

I not willing to forgo breaks or lunch to satify his crazy demands.

I must say I take great joy in waking him up several time a night.

Shouting " Don! " is really fun! I stay an hour later than the rest of

the shift, including him, and my BS was dropping too low. I now pack

a little bag of cracker in my work pouch. I refuse to let this get

to me. A friend is suggesting a " sick out " with the 15 people on our

shift, but I'm not going along with it. A lot of the plastics shops

in our area are in trouble and I don't need to be made an example of.

Sorry this is so long winded, I just needed to vent (and brag). I'm

off to the library to pick up a copy of " How to work for a jerk " . :)

Thanks for listening!
