This can be the start to Adrenal Fatigue I have been finding a lot of us men on

TRT are having this problem. You can be at stage 1 or 2 here are some links

about this in this cut & paste.

What Stage of Adrenal Fatigue are you At.

I think I was at stage 4 as you can see in this link at the bottom you can

go backward or forward to see the stages of Adrenal Fatigue.

Hi!

My name is . I also had very high cortisol levels when I was tested. (My levels were double...Don't know what it is now???) I didn't have a problem losing weight though... weird.

ALSO, I have a very important question:

I have a friend that's been very sick for about 1 1/2 years now. She's been using those ionic foot pads and would like to send them to a lab for testing. Does ANYONE know WHERE she can send them??? Address???

You gals are AMAZING!!! :)

Thanks!

, This is not suprising. High cortisol is a sign that the adrenals are overworking. Are you taking phosphatidly Serine, or Phosphorylated Serine? Be careful to make sure you are taking the right one. You want Phosphorylated Serine. What other stress reduction techniques has she suggested for you? Hi , I am glad you are feeling better. That is the goal. Check out the information regarding the use of Phosphorylated Serine for high cortisol, by doing a search with "Phosphorylated Serine, high cortisol". You really want to bring that high cortisol back down to more normal levels. I'll send you some links for info, too. I know there is alot of reading, but try to catch the more important phrases of info in them. http://www.nutrition4health.org/NOHAnews/NNW02HardingAging.htm http://www.nutrition4health.org/nohanews/NNSp05Harding.htm I wish you wellness, ! ,

I did not have this, but I was worried about it, and I researched

lowering cortisol several years ago, because I believed I was

suffering greatly from inflammation.

Actually my problem was more closely related to low cortisol, which

is the other side of the same coin. High cortisol leads to adrenal

fatigue, and low cortisol is evidence of adrenal fatigue.

Reducing cortisol levels can be done through leading a low stress

life, talking walks, eating and drinking in moderation, (no

caffeine, no alcohol) getting deep sleep, getting massages, praying,

meditating, or doing yoga. Do an internet search on reducing

cortisol levels, and you will find pretty much the same suggestions.

Guided imagery is also suggested.

There are a few supplements listed in our links section under

Adrenal Protocols. You would want to look at the chart that says,

Elevated Cortisol "

http://www.thecompounder.com/hormonesadrenalprotocol.php

For ELEVATED CORTISOL LEVELS

Phosphorylated Serine (Seriphos®) 10mg at 8AM and 5mg at noon

Vitamin B5 (Pantothenic Acid) 500mg three times daily

Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine) 50mg twice a day

Vitamin C 3000mg three times a day

Vitamin E 800 I.U. per day

Cayenne Capsules (OPTIONAL) 1 capsule three times a day

Ginseng (OPTIONAL) 1 capsule one to three times a day

Exercise 20 minutes, 3 to 4 times a week. CAUTION: Do NOT be

competitive in your exercise program

You will need to allow plenty of time for your adrenal glands to

heal, but following a stress free life is vital.

You'll get there, !

. . . Do a websearch for detox foot pads . . . There are a bunch of distributors. . . Some of them offer testing . . I don't remember who offers testing though. If I remember right - silicone was not one of the things they test for though. She might be interested in ionic foot baths . . . www.ionicoasis.com can refer one to someone who does hair testing to see which heavy minerals may be present. . . But should you decide to buy a unit, go to ebay and order from there. . . You can buy one for less than half price by making an "Offer" there. Hugs, Rogene Shoham <resultsbyrachel@...> wrote: Hi! yeah. Don't get me wrong, when I FIRST started getting sick my weight jumped up 15 pounds. My stomach would not digest ANYTHING! After taking a LOT of probiotics, caprylic acid, and a few other suppliments my weight slowly crept back down, even though my coritsol levels were still high...

One noninvasive approach that mothers of autistic children use is the Epsom

salts bath/soak. The body absorbs magnesium and you have better sleep patterns.

It is at least worth a try. I also use transdermal magnesium to up my magnesium

daily intake as I don't absorb njutrients well from my food.

Excellent try with the gluten avoidance, but I have been gluten and dairy free

for years. I have severe leaky gut and damage from rogue yeasts from homemade

cheese, NSAIDS and antibiotics prescribed for other conditions.

Thanks for the advice. Although I love hot baths with Epson, I shower

more often then a bath. I will try the magnesium internally though.

For you having problem absorbing nutrients it could mean that you are consuming

to many gluten based products. Try reducing those products and take probiotics

to assist in absorption of nutrients. Cheers.

joan try this i stumbled by accident on it...

1 TBSP RAW honey ( local honey is great!) plus 1 TBSP Extra Virgin Coconut oil

mixed into a cup of warm milk...if you dont do dairy try the coconut milk.  Take

right before bed.

I've been sleeping for 7 hours using this have just been doingthis for several

nights.  I had to experiment with the amount of honey..i tried 2 tsp but that

didn't keep me asleep all nitght.

The honey also works in non fat hot cocoa made with dry cocoa sweetened with

Stevia.  I've had trouble falling asleep and then staying asleep, would wake 2

to 4 times per night.

Honey and the Coconut Oil both are good to kill organisms...coconut is good for

candida.

, here is a link to sites that discuss " honey and cortisol " ...it reduces

cortisol.

http://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-a & rls=org.mozilla%3Aen-US%3Aofficial\

& channel=s & hl=en & source=hp & q=honey+and+cortisol+ & btnG=Google+Search

That's probably why honey also aids weight loss by reducing cortisol and

increasing sleep.

I have to get to bed just took my honey/ milk and EVCO!  I'll check back

tomorrow..   Lee.

> Thanks for the advice. Although I love hot baths with Epson, I shower more

Magnesium lotion may be of interest. Dr. Shealy did some studies and found a

few things ... Magnesium deficiency is widespread - it is easier to get calcium

than Mg and when present together they " compete " and calcium " wins " (my words &

understanding) - it takes 1 year of oral Mg taurate to replete cellular Mg - it

takes about 10 IV Mg treatments to replete and it takes about 6 weeks of Mg

lotion to replete. Then it must be taken/used on an ongoing basis.

His research also indicated that topical (via lotion or soaking) Mg chloride

provides benefits that Mg sulfate (epsom salts) does not.

There are several sources of Mg lotion but it seems that Dr. Shealy's is the

most affordable through either his website or Spring Valley Herbs website. Life

Enthusiast website has articles and products available too.

Some people buy USP grade Mg chloride crystals and make their own lotion or

spray - check out Earth Clinic for more info on how to do that.
