Wow, , what bad luck all the way around! Glad your family came through

the accident ok! That would have been scary.

I know kind of how you feel at this point. When I had my daughter, they took

her 2 weeks early since I hurt so bad. They did an amnio and her lungs were

ready, so I had her the next morning. What a relief! I had both kids

c-section as I was so narrow from front to back.

I hope things go very quickly and smoothly for you and that Jeff makes it

home ok...it's been a time for him too, hasn't it?

God bless all of you, I'm thinking and praying for you.

Love Lana

Hi,

No one here really gets it right now so I need to

vent. It's been a lousy week of rain so far and it's

predicted to keep raining until Tuesday!!

Jeff's been working around the clock to try and wrap

up some projects at work before the baby. Tuesday he

came home around 11pm and was back at work beofre 6am

Wednesday and hasn't been home since. He did leave

work at 6am for a few hours after I called him, his

sister had rolled her expedition in a bad storm and

needed someone to get tot he hospital w/ her while her

husband dropped their son off at daycare. Despite

having to be cut out, she managed to walk away w/ just

cuts and bruises it turns out. There isn't an

undamged inch on the exterior of the car. I'm

grateful she had already dropped off the baby. The

force was so great that it cracked the baby's carseat

base. The booster seat was cracked also even though

both were unoccupied.

I haven't had much sleep. Cass had me up until 2am

calling her daddy every hour since she missed him adn

he'd read her another story. Yes, the man copied alot

of her favortie stories so that on long nights or

traveling, he can read to her still. The baby had me

up at 3:30 for a while. I had barely gotten to sleep

when my SIL called hysterically at 5:50 looking for

Jeff. Since he hadn't had any sleep, I stayed up to

make sure he didn't wreck until he was safely back at

work after 9am. Cass woke me shortly thereafter and

has been a bored whirlwind since we haven't been

outside in days.

I ACHE from head to toe. My pelvis is so untstable

and painful at this point that I can barely stand up

from a sitting or laying position. I had the phone by

me in bed all night and morning so the cordless is

dead. Since I'm having to get up to answer the phone,

everyone knows it's a minimum of 10 rings for me to

even get standing right now. Jeff was on his way

around 6 but there was a tornado warning so I asked

him to stay put in his condition. I asked him to go

ahead and come around 7:45 and he's on his way but

another tornado warning was issued right after that.

We also have flash flood warnings. I'm praying he

make sit home.

To top it all of, I've been having prelabor

contractions off and on all day!!! I've resorted to

putting Cass on the couch w/ a dragon's tales video

and I'm awaiting reinforcements!! I hope Mark is

faring better!!!!!!! Urgh! That was Jeff on the

phone and he's just now heading home at 8:20 due to

heavy storms in his area. WAH!!!!! I've got about an

hour to go befroe help gets here and I'd psyched

myself up for maybe 15 more minutes which is how I

found the energy to come whine to you.

I did gather and light candles so that if the electric

goes out, Cass won't freak. I have the flashlight

handy too. I've collected some puzzles and books for

my bed so that I can entertain Cass there if I loose

power and the video. Atleast she's being a good sport

about mommy not being in any shape to play right now.

It has been the day from HADES!!!!!

=====

Love, C " Cass' Momma "
