Doris,

Thank God you made it home!!! But I think I would be hitting something a

little harder than the chamomile tea if it were me and I had been though all

that. It is funny how we all have times like these. Even though my friends

have similar types of episodes it is nothing compared to what I go through.

Fibro Fog? Maybe? But it certainly is scary when you begin to realize it,

I would rather be oblivious to it. One of my favorite quotes " Ignorance is

Bliss and Bliss is Ignorance " I remember going through a down pour in LA

and thinking....Man, its's really dark, I cannot see a darn thing,...wow, I

hope I make it home alive. Well, I forgot to put on my headlights on the

way home and you could not see more that ten feet ahead. I could not figure

out why people were flashing their lights at me even though I know what that

meant, I wasn't catching on. My GF calls those " Blonde moments " . Now

before I hear from all the NATURAL blondes out there that is what SHE calls

then NOT me. But I was thinking I made my poor guardian angel work overtime

that day!!

Thanks, Carole,

Been there done that with no headlights on!!Doesn't your face just get Red? ON

rest of the night, which I assumed would be peaceful. I decided to have a dish

of Ice, new flavor! Yes, yummy. Within and hour, I was beet red and swelling

fast. I took some benadryl, and headed for the ER............found out there was

peanut oil in the ice cream and I'm allergic to peanuts!! NO nuts in the ice

cream though! What a bummer! O got to bed around five. The doctor wanted me to

find someone to drive me home because I had taken benadryl, well, duh, I drove

my self THERE!

And after all that happened, I had some ice cream...I didn't know there was

peanut oil in it, and I had a severe reaction. I took some benadryl and it

helped some, as the redness started to go away. I still had itching and swelling

so I hopped into my car at 3:00 AM and drove all the way across town to get to

the Hospital ER for my HMO< and the doctor there said that I had pretty much

resolved the issue, but gave me something else to make sure. Then he spent a

half hour trying to see if I could find someone to drive me home. WELL, DUH, I

WAS IN WORSE SHAPE DRIVING OVER THERE, SO WHY WOULD I NEED A RIDE HOME? He

finally said, " okay, you can drive, but be very carefull " . I know benadryl makes

some people sleepy, but I don't happen to be one of them!

STOP THE WORLD, I WANT TO GET OFF!

Too funny.

Blessings, Doris

Hi Carole..............

I'm more than a little nutty today. I forgot it was Friday........duh. Been a

long week for me. I'm a recovering alcoholic (for seventeen years in August..the

17th) so even though I thought about something more EXOTIC than

chamomile............what can I say. Laughter works for me and I have been doing

a lot of RFLOL for the past few days. The car is sitting in the drive with dead

battery, the doc has not called in my script for Neurontin yet, and I'm

thinking, WOW? Do you suppose I need to chill out and relax and just wait???

YEP!

My DIL just called and if AAA can't get my car going, AA will keep me on track

LOL! NO point in calling AAA until the script is ready and then I can charge up

the battery after AAA starts it for me...when the script is ready. I hurt too

much to do anything else, and the rehab where Joanie is is right around the

corner from friends and Joe and they will go check and let me know....like

I don't have to go every day since the relatives have ALL THE CONTROL now. ;D at

least, they think so...

The Retired Military Nurses Assoc will do what Joan wants whether the relatives

agree or not...they have their ways! ALL you nurses out there know of what I

speak!

The Boxer Rescue people will take care of the three Shiatsu's, so I can just

relax at least, for today!

I hurt too much to do anything until I get the Neurontin going again

anyway...so adios for now, and my undying gratitude for all the support!

Hugs, Doris

My sense of direction work great in the daytime when I can see the Mountains

in the EAST. In the dark, someone moves the mountain.
