Hi ladies,

My name is Lucas. I am 22 yrs old and I am currently going threw an

ectopic pregnancy. I have lost 3 other babies because of a uterine anomaly

and luteal phase defect.

Let me begin with what's happening now. I finished a stimulated cycle of

Humegon and went threw my 2 week wait and thought for sure that I wasn't

pregnant. I had a beta done on the 14th day and like I thought it was

negative. So I was sent home with a pack of birth control and told to start

it the day I got AF. Well, AF decided that she would be a week late,

probably because of the progesterone or the EP. When I did start it only

lasted about 3 days and was very light. A week into my pill pack on last

Monday night I started to have horrible abdominal pains. I thought for sure

that I had something wrong with my gall bladder or something like that. My

husband took me to the ER and the first thing they did was a beta. It came

back positive at 256. I was amazed and in shock. After all I had just had a

beta not 2 weeks before and it was negative. At that time the doc gave me 2

choices, a lap or Methotextrate. I chose the later because I didn't want to

have another surgery. I have already had 4 because of the septum and D & C's

from previous miscarriages. I took the shot and was sent home and within 30

minutes of leaving the hospital I was violently sick. I spent the next 2

days in front of the toilet throwing up and unable to keep anything down. I

have never been that sick before in my life and have yet to recover all the

way. So anyway, that Thursday after I went back to the doc to check my

levels and of course they where going up not down. So once again I was sent

home to worry about this and wonder if it would rupture any minute. Over the

weekend I was in terrible pain and still very sick to my stomach. I went

back in today for a repeat beta and an ultrasound and we seen nothing in my

tubes or uterus. I am still having discomfort in my side and feeling sick at

my stomach. So here I am, waiting for the nurse to call and tell me what my

levels where. If there going down then I am O.K. If not then I will be

having a lap tomorrow. I am very scared and I don't know what to expect

next. I would have never dreamed this would happen to me. I knew that

miscarriage was a big possibility but not EP. I have not been able to find a

lot of info on EP nor have I found any advice on what to do or expect next.

Please help me. Like I said I am so scared. I am afraid that I will never

be able to get pregnant again without IVF and my insurance won't cover it so

I will never be able to do that.

here that can really help you.

I am so sorry for your losses. Multiple loss is not an issue I have had to

deal with, so I will pray for you and your dh. I hope the nurse calls with

good news soon. Keep us posted.
