Guest guest
I am quite interested in the subject of adrenal gland exhaustion as related to breast implants, and feel like this is an area that needs further scrutiny and medical treatment. My biggest question is whether we are dealing with high cortisol levels, or low cortisol levels? Both are bad. I think adrenal function testing should be recommended for all of us who are dealing with symptoms of illness that do not improve after explant. Obviously, the implants cause stress to our bodies. Detoxing is important, but according to some research I've been doing (and I am greatly limited due to my time constraints) this cascade of events begins with endocrine upset that causes our livers to become sluggish and fungus, virus and bacteria to get out of control (hence the flu like symptoms and candida issues)--a domino effect that needs to be addressed from many different angles. Detoxing is important. Diet is important. And endocrine balancing looks like it is very important as well, but really focuses more on the thyroid than the adrenals. I think the adrenals are getting shortchanged! I'll post several articles, but it looks like the adrenal glands need to be addressed before the thyroid is addressed? I'll let you girls who love to research these things chime in here! Hugs, Patty Don't be flakey. Get for Mobile and always stay connected to friends.
