Guest guest
Have you tried lowering the amount of certain supplements and then seeing if he can tolerate them daily? If not, then how many days away from the supplements does he seem to 'need' before he improves? If it's not too long then personally I would just go with it for a while. We are probably in a similar boat in that on the off days, I am not necessarily giving everything every single day either. I definitely would not have him on GSE every day anyway, since that would kill off everything and not be good for the overall balance in the gut. Some of them he did not tolerate except after many rounds of chelation, others he no longer needs, others he needs only during certain issues [like high copper or when he had yeast]. Initially when I first did Bees complete diet I was very overwhelmed, I suffered first from constipation, bad breath, chronic fatigue, severe digestive abdominal pains as well as trying to make sure that I was able to cook all my meals, have enough energy to go work, exercise a little, do the dry skin brushing and coffee enemas twice weekly etc so although I had all the supplements, they havent been in the exact dosage that bee recommends, the last 2-3 weeks, I've had a vast improvement, energy levels are on the up and I feel that I've turned the corner, Im nearly onto maximum antifungals - (now up to 6 TBLSPN vco and 4 drops 3xdaily of oregano oil, now I must refine the supplements to what Bee says (I should've done this before, but did the best I could manage). I get the Virgin Coconut Oil, through " Aclara health: " , he's a local guy, and delivers free if you order a carton, the oregano oil, I ordered through the internet " healthy health " , all the other supplements I get at the " Healthy Life " store in Garden City, Upper Mt Gravatt. If you need more specifics let me know or if you want you can email me personally. bye for now and hope Im able to help you Kat

Can i ask youhow long you were on the diet before you began to notice that drastic difference in your energy. I am just lookin for encouragement to keep on going as i am having a difficult time. Die you have any dieff from the coconut oil? thanks sue ***Hi Sue, I started Bees complete diet in early to mid April this year, before that I had been on a diet recommended from a naturopath, which wasnt as strict as Bees because it included some higher carb veges and even some grains and rice (obviously it wasnt very sucessful), however it did help me because it was a gradual shift from my pre-candida diet towards Bees diet. And yes I did have terrible die off from the vco but that was because I was trying to take increased doses too soon, I was impatient and even though Bee said do it gradually, I still thought maybe I could get away with it, but I paid for it with severe fatigue - low energy, arms & legs heavy like lead, constipation, stomach and digestive problems, bad breath. I ended up having to back track with the vco, because too early on i tried to take the 6 tblspns, but my body couldnt cope with it, so I had to cut it right back, and increase it every 5 or so days, and that along with the coffee enemas seem to help with the die off, the energy and relief you have after one is so amazing. I thought they were pretty revolting at first, but now I cant wait to do them, because I know, Im gonna feel so good afterwards. Don't get me wrong, although Im feeling more like myself nowadays, I still have a lot of healing to do, I have some low energy days,(not severe) I have a burning tongue, my stomach still has alot of activity and gurgling going on in it, some pains, but I think they may be healing or retracing because they are very mild, but im taking the sauerkraut, and will continue on this diet and try to follow everything Bee recommends. So girlfriend hang in there, because Bees diet is the best, it REALLY works. love Kat PS. god bless Bee for all her dedication and kindness. Guest guest
help. I can't swallow pills right now, due to the thyroid surgery. I had just ordered Krill Oil gel caps from Dr. Mercola; it's supposed to be as good or better than fish oil. The capsules are getting stuck in my throat. Do you think if I opened the gel cap and emptied the contents into a glass of water, it would work as well? Thanks! Beth

What helped me was the introduction of good fats. The more fats I've added to my diet, the less shakes I got. This is consistent with others I've heard from who tried the SCD but had to leave it or moderate because of their candida. Don't add fats too quickly, but increase every 4-5 days. I am up to 4 Tbsp., 1 tsp. of coconut oil a day and it's taken me two months to get here. But I don't get those shakes anymore. If anything, I feel a little woozy if I'm hungry...or I actually feel hungry!! Hope this helps...welcome, ~Cathe

Guest guest
Sam, This is amazing....the first day coming on to this diet after doing the SCD, I experienced exactly what you did! I was afraid by the shaking too so I ate a handful of dried fruit and felt horrid afterwards. So the best thing for me to do is to keep a pot of soup in the fridge that with fat already added, or some deviled eggs with lots of fats mixed in, so I can just grab something out fast at night ( I wake up at least once with my DD). And like others had said the more fat the better I feel. I can actually go farther in between meals when I eat enough fat with it.The egg drink helps get more fat into me too. I'll let you know if I think of other things that your sons might like.... samadamfamily <samadamfamily@...> wrote: when i woke up i felt shaky, my heart was pounding and i felt sick to my stomach. so i ate 2 spoonfuls of almond butter then that made me feel even worse and i threw up the almond butter. i had a small slice of apple and some broth and went back to bed. i'm feeling better now after having some eggs for breakfast but my question is what can i do to get through this. i have 2 small children so i can't be in bed all day but i don't want to consume food that's going to aggravate the yeast. what should i do, i'm nursing as well so i can't take mega vitamin doses. --------------------------------- Looking for last minute shopping deals? Add butter or olive oil to warmed electrolyte drink. If you make a casserole, let a big glob of butter melt on it before you dish it up. Stuff like that. I was unsure about 'all that fat' in the beginning but it truly is the thing that's helping me the most. Does that help? ~Cathe
Guest guest
What you are discribing sound like when my blood sugar when low when I first started. To help I would make sure I had a batch of raw egg drink in the fridge for the next morning. Drink some(at least a good glass) right when you get up. It will take about 20 min (I think) to bring up your blood sugar this way(if that is the problem). Always keep some handy in the fridge for whenever you start to feel edgy/anxious or shaky. This is what worked for me anyway. Something else that seemed to help is I started eating the spiced pate like it was going out of style. Then my sugar started to regulate again. Hope this helps Kara

Pork is a very fatty delicious meat to have as well. I pour the coconut oil used to cook my meats and stir fries all over the food on my plate, and also add more butter, salt and pepper, and it's yummy. Try searching our message archives for ideas on how to increase fats too. Luv, Bee
