Make sure you do more than a TSH as it does not reflect the function of a thyroid. Endrocrineweb.md is a good website and relates that the complete panel is includes rT3, T3, T3/rT3 ratio, T4, and TSH. My symptoms were not consistent with hypothyroidism as I was losing weight because I could not swallow because of all the small nodules in my thyroid and my TSH was not that low. It was not until I could not breath, had tremors, a small stroke, that the doctors took it seriously. My thyroid was so scarred and stuck to the sides of my larynx and I had a benign mass. I really am not an alarmist but please take care of your lab tests and deficiencies if you have them as pain is increased when you have them. Good luck and let us know what you find out.
