Guest guest
Hi Imogene, This came to mind when you mentioned Don's face turning light red on one side of his face that he lays on. If he drools at all, it can get on the pillow and everytime he moves a little his face will get in it and a little bacteria forms on the face and causes a redness. Does the redness disappear after awhile or stay? If it disappears after awhile, maybe he is just a deep sleeper and presses on his face when he sleeps and it makes a little redness. I don't know anything about Curel, does it have a scent in it that Don could have a reaction to? I haven't got a clue. That area is becoming light red. I put some medicated oitment on it, but I have noticed that the caregiver puts lotion on his face. It is Cure'l. Will that weaken his skin in anyway? Some lotions do. The earth quake in Haiti has me a little shook up, and I can't sleep, so I am writing to you. Sorry about your Yahoo problem, Dear Donna, And, , the things you have posted are great as usual. Let you all go for now. Later 'gator, Love you, Imogene

She said that it doesn't clog the pores like most other lotions and creams do, and I don't think that it has any added things that can cause problems. You may want to check into that. You know, less is better! Joan > Hi dear ones, > > Don has taken to sleeping on his right side all curled up which makes him sleep on his right face, including the ear and eye. Guest guest
Hi Sharon, Life is never dull around here. My youngest daughter, , and her boyfriend, Joe, announced their engagement on Christmas Eve and they are getting married on August 28, so we are in the fun stages of wedding planning. We were all a little depressed about Christmas without my Dad this year and then they announced their engagement and the focus was on them and it cheered up our holidays and put a smile on our face. 's husband to be is a video photographer for the TV " Discovery Channel " They were in high school together and knew each other, but that is the extent of it. Joe was in Canada filming for the " Discovery Channel " at the time of the reunion and had some down time and decided to go to the reunion. I think everything happens for a reason. He never had time to attend a reunion before. Jim was fading a month ago, but he is looking better again since I am back on a routine again with him. When my Dad was ill, I didn't spend as much time with Jim as usual and he felt it and didn't eat when I was not there and then came all the Christmas chaos and took time away from him. I am finally on schedule again until the Wedding Chaos takes over. Donnie is in my thoughts and prayers to find a job. What happened to truck driving with Melvin? OMG! Your mother is still working her witch craft? Heee heeee heeeee Do you have a computer now or are you posting on the cell phone? I miss you on Yahoo IM My time is all screwy online now. I stay for hours at the nursing home and usually don't get home until around 10PM and I'm online sometimes until 3AM. Because of the economy and families cutting down on payments, we don't have a full class of kids this year and we have always had a waiting list of kids to come to school. Teacher's hours were cut back, since there are less kids and I only work half a day on Thursday now. The teachers that need the money the most were kept full time and if I want to work a full week I can, because I am on the substitute list and I could work a full week everyweek if I chose to. The kids are adorable and great this year. They always come back after Christmas Break so much more mature and ready to learn. It's amazing what 2 weeks away from school will do to these kids. It's like a miracle every year. That's my life in a nutshell. Talk to you later.
