Guest guest
HI Beth, I believe you can certainly do that! Maybe not water though...can you use something like raw milk or some other drink with some fat in it to help with utilization of the fats? PattyBeth <bethlakey@...> wrote: help. I can't swallow pills right now, due to the thyroid surgery. I had just ordered Krill Oil gel caps from Dr. Mercola; it's supposed to be as good or better than fish oil. The capsules are getting stuck in my throat. Do you think if I opened the gel cap and emptied the contents into a glass of water, it would work as well? Thanks!Beth Be a better Globetrotter. Guest guest
Beth, I would ask the company, sometimes they are in a gel cap because they are strong and can burn your skin inside, I hope you are starting to feel better now. Guest guest
HI Sam I just mix the cooked yolks with a spoonful of fermented garlic (minced), a spoonful of both coconut oil and ghee and a drizzle of olive oil, salt and paprika. They would taste even better if you added a little salsa (when you can handle raw veggies). Vick samadamfamily <samadamfamily@...> wrote: thank you both elizabeth and cathe, ooh elizabeth how do you make your deviled eggs? that is such a good idea to keep that in the fridge so i can grab it before i feel bad again! we're back to using ghee again but my boys are waking up at night since adding it back in but i think i'll decrease the dose then work up again. have you started supplements yet? i'm afraid to start them because its like opening a can of worms with my kids. first its ok then it goes down hill fast. thanks again sam > > Hi Sam, > > Try putting more butter in the egg drink, globs (yup, that's what I > tell my kids--here's your glob of fat) of butter instead of pats of > butter on their veggies. Guest guest
HI Sam Do you have Nourishing Traditions by Sally Fallon? It is the pickled garlic recipe in the fermented foods section. I will put the recipe in the files soon for others.... samadamfamily <samadamfamily@...> wrote: thanks elizabeth- how do you ferment garlic? --------------------------------- Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Mobile.
