When I have a bladder infection, that is what my symptoms are. Until

you can see a doctor and get a prescription, AZO works well and my

doctor told me to keep some on hand for those times when the problems

hit on weekends or holidays.

I know that some antibiotics can cause a woman to have a bladder

infection. Definitely check with your doctor. He may have to

change your antibiotic as well as give you something for the

infection.

Hi Doris,

What is AZO and where do you get it? I called an

on-call dr. and he upped the current antibiotic, and

prescribed some pills to stop the pain (but it hasn't

worked yet).

And some antibiotics can give you a yeast infection too. My doctor

usually asks if I want a prescription for something for yeast when he

gives me certain antibiotics.

You can get it " over the counter " at the pharmacy. In some

pharmacies, you may have to ask. If you get it, don't be surprised

when your urine turns a dark orange or blue (can't remember which

because thank goodness I have not had to use in a while ...I know that

one medication turns the urine a bright blue and the other a bright

orange.) I mention this because many years ago when I had my first

bladder infection, I was given a medicine that turned it blue. AND

they did not tell me. I was scared when I saw it! Thank goodness my

mother-in-law knew why it was blue!

i didnt know that with lungs i stay on antibodics in the winter time i take

augumetin 850 mg

WELL DOCTOR WILL CHANGE THAT medicine ,sometimes i believe i grew immunity to

it thanks so much for information on this this medicine they have me on now is a

clear gel cost 65.00 dollars and i have to do this twice a day instead of once

he has 2 refills on it so i hope this one gets rid of it i been fighting this

for about 3 months or more i'm so tired of it driving me crazy now its very very

painful so today is third day on it and starting to see little improvement i

hope this is it
