Guest guest
News of improvement: I just wanted to comment on myofacial release massage results from self-massage. Last week, after having considered previous postings, I decided to try it: self-administered myofacial release gentle massage on my bikini scar. I have had that region of my lower abdomen cut open 3 times. Over time, that scar tissue had become thick and painful when pressed on, but with increasing numbness spread over the belly skin above the scar. It also stings like a fresh cut whenever I stretch and do exercises. Often, that sting will travel to other parts of my body and zap me as if I were poked in two different areas. I tried kneading it and rubbing it with utterly smooth Shea butter foot cream a few days ago. I got sharp nerve pains in my chest muscles every time I pressed on that bikini scar, but today, I rubbed again and did not get those shooting nerve pains any higher than my waistline. I call that progress. Thanks, especially to Bennie and others who posted the info that prompted me to ask my physical therapist about this painful topic. There just might be hope for me yet!
