Sinus pressure-head pressure or nerve pain?

Has anyone out there had severe sinus type pressure at the back of the head/base

of head area above neckline? Not quite at base of skull but the sides?

I'm having severe pain and it almost feels like nerve pain or neuralgia by the

base of my skull. Could this just be bad sinus pressure pain? I've never

experienced this before...
