What is your favorite "comfort food"?

Probably a banana split, although I only get one about once a year. The comfort food I eat the most would be a fudge bar or ice cream bar of some sort.

Chips: funyuns are the most favorite.. or cheddar ranch frito's

Try not to let your mind wander... It is too small and fragile to be out by itself.

Mine is the worst thing I can do because I am a heavy binger, Potato chips and dip, or anything chocolate. But the lighter side if they are not available, Microwave Popcorn with Light Butter. BarbieHamilton & Feeser wrote:

Looks like my first answer didn't show. That would be chocolate donuts, or anything chocolate and sweet.

Anything German...pastries, chocolates, marzipan, Nutella (hazelnut chocolate spread), Brötchen (kinda like a Kaiser roll) with gelbwurst (German lunch meat). Can't remember the last time that I had any of the above, but dang, its all sounding good right now.

Had a long day....waited at a gym on Fort Hood for a friend who was redeploying along with his unit from Iraq. Got there at 8 a.m. only to find out flight was rerouted to Dallas due to heavy fog, then another delay due to mechanical problems. Flight finally got in and troops made it to gym by bus at about 1:45. Very emotional scene with soldiers reuniting with loved ones and friends, and daddies meeting babies for the first time. The whole thing was heart wrenching. Reminded me of when my hubby came back from the first Gulf War.

Anyway, by 2:30 the kids and I were on our way to Austin (over an hour away) to visit University of TX campus. is planning to go there. Better him than me....I'm a country mouse anymore. We just got back home around 9 p.m. and I'm exhausted.

Hope everyone is having a good week,

Hugs,

Janet

So is my husband and he does not have a weight problem. I am so happy he

loves chocolate chip cookies because I hate them. I do not eat a lot of

sweets but the ones I know I like I try my best to not even buy them and

bring them home because I am not strong when it comes to eating things that

are within my reach that are not good for me!! I always buy him Chocolate

chip, Oreo, or anything lemon or raspberry flavor. I have no desire to even

think about eating theses things!! Love pepper
