Guest guest
" They sell mostly organic products. We use intestinal formula #1 and 2. " I just want to mention that both of these products contain illegal ingredients. I know that constipation can be a huge issue and that sometimes people resort to illegal products. I just want to make sure that people realize that these products are not legal. Jody mom to -5.1 and -7.5 SCD 1 year
Guest guest
Doug & Laurie, Formula 1: Contains: Curacao and Cape Aloe leaf (Aloe spicatal and ferox), Senna leaves and pods (Cassia officinalis), Cascara Sagrada aged bark (Rhanmus purshiana), Barberry rootbark (Berberis vulgaris), Ginger rhizome (Zingiber officinalis), Garlic bulb (Allium sativum) and African Bird Pepper (Capsicum africana). Aloe vera is is not legal on SCD, and you couldn't pay me to go near senna and cascara sagrada. Formula Two: Contains: Flax seed, Apple Fruit Pectin, Pharmaceutical Grade Bentonite Clay, Psyllium seeds and husk, Slippery Elm inner bark, Marshmallow root, Sweet Fennel seed & Activated Willow charcoal. This formula is utterly and totally SCD illegal. Flax seed is not legal. Fruit Pectin as an additive is not legal (this is why, at the beginning of the diet, we peel all fruit, because pectin is in the peels), psyllium seeds and husk are no legal. Slippery elm and marshmallow root -- these are both polysaccharides, and completely illegal on SCD, even if lots of naturopaths prescribe them. -- Marilyn (New Orleans, Louisiana, USA) Undiagnosed IBS 28 years, SCD 2+ Years No Human Children Shadow & Sunny Longhair Dachshund
