Enzymes

I'm thinking of trying enzymes with my son and I notice that none of

them are listed under legal supps on the pecanbread site, but that list

doesn't include Freeda's vitamins either. Someone wrote in recently to

say that Houston's just came out with a legal version.

What kind of research has been done into these products? I know Elaine

wrote that we shouldn't trust any company just because they say their

products are SCD compliant. Is there a list of which enzymes are legal

and could someone tell me how that was verified?

I'm sorry in advance if this is posted someplace. Couldn't find it.

Thanks,

Rosemary

Rosemary,

There is a list of legal enzymes on Pecanbread.com.

You are right that it isn't on the Supplements page.

I'll put the list there as well. Sorry about that.

Right now they are listed on the Overcoming Difficulties page in the

" Child still shows signs of malabsorption " section.

The supplements list is not all inclusive because no one has the time

to check out every product on the market, but we do try to include the

most commonly asked about products, which oftentimes is Kirkman brands

because they tailor their products towards the needs of ASD kids.

But I will get the enzymes on the list.

Thanks, Jody. (Thanks to both Jodys. : )). I'm really at my wit's end.

Ned's bms seem to be getting worse rather than better since we reduced

honey and nut bread and added the chicken pancakes. I guess we are

going to have to go back to the intro, but I hate the thought of

giving him nothing but chicken pancakes for 2 days, and the constant

tantrums and misery. We've done it twice already.

Sigh!
