The first thing I will tell you is that you can and will succeed if that's what you desire. That sounds odd...but it's true. The ladies here in this group have succeeded or are succeeding because they have the desire to do so. And succeeding is more than just losing weight, it's keeping your sh*t together as well! If you've done all the work you have, I'd say you are MORE than ready to succeed!!!!! I have been in a program jumping through all the hoops since June 2005. My insurance approved me on the first attempt. I have been heavy all my life and have tried everything to lose weight only to regain all I had lost and then some. I feel like such a failure. I hope this works for me but I'am so afraid it won't. I know better than to fall for that notion. I just have failed so many times. I don't want to fail this time. I have been watching this group on here for some time now and I can say I feel so much more encouraged since I started reading comments here. You all seem like such a great bunch. I would be that failure. But I wasn't and I believe everyone in this group wasn't and with the help of each other, I won't ever be a failure with this. As long as I do what I my doctor tells me and what those who have gone before me tell me of their experience, I will make it. The 9 other Debbie's I know are AWESOME so i'm sure you are too!! Congtratulatios on your surgery date!! That is just great. I had surgery Aug. 17 of 2004 and I'm down 105 lbs and it has changed my life!! Can I tell you how much fun the clothes shopping is???? I have also been heavy the majority of my life. I have worn clothes that just fit...... forget how it looked..... I'm really lovig the new me!! Welcome to the group!! I'm glad you joined!!
