Guest guest
Nan ~ Geezus, just how ignorant your doctor became once he learned of the implants. It is amazing how between the FDA/Medical Field/Pharmaceutical companies, doctors have become increasingly stupid ! ! I cant believe he couldnt tell you where to go from there. I would call his office and ask them this question. If I were your mother, wife, or daughter, where would you like them to go? Montel is doing a what you put in your body and how to detox, i am gonna watch it......... Love DSee what's free at AOL.com.
Guest guest
Nan ~ Also, I would contact Kolb and ask her if you should have any tests done now so you all can go over them when you see her. Maybe a CT of your upper body and neck and head?? Maybe a blood workup? I thought is they are enlarged due to toxins and reaction to all your surgery. Best to be safe though, and would be nice to have the tests there at home so you can discuss it with her at your appointment. Sending you love and blessings ~ DedeSee what's free at AOL.com. Guest guest
Nan, I am so happy you opted for the u/s. Perhaps Dr. Kolb can offer better answers. I am so sorry you are having pain. Guest guest
In my experience of having lymph nodes removed. ( 7 ) they were all scarred down and were cystic and some with necrotic tissue. Nodes that were just reactive and enlarged were left in, as those can recover and work again. See what's free at AOL.com.
Guest guest
Nan, I am so sorry and what a " strange " thing! In your windpipe ! Makes me wonder about doctors removing our lymph nodes? I don't know much about how this system functions. Is it better to remove them or leave them in? Didn't Kolb take some of yours out? If they take them out....do other lymph nodes get clogged elsewhere with debris and infection? Do the stuff just circulate, clogging up another lymph? Could this be the reason...other lymphs of yours swelled up? > > today because I still have a bad sore spot and can't breathe. Turns > out it is not my thyroid at all, it is my windpipe. Guest guest
Lynn, this is all over my head! I have no idea, and the dr said he thinks it looks like lymph nodes, but of course he does not know and does not where I should go, the nurse even looked and me and shook her head because he was just too anxious to rush me out since it was not my thyroid. Very frustrating! How are you feeling? Nan > > > > today because I still have a bad sore spot and can't breathe. > Turns > > out it is not my thyroid at all, it is my windpipe. Guest guest
Nan, It's over my head too. What about an ENT since they are Ear Nose and throat? I know you mentioned that before... Or....could you call the Radiologist who read the ultra sound? Of course, he will probably just tell you all he does is " read them " but they are Doctors too and perhaps he could offer a recommendation for the next step. Guest guest
Lynn, that is the scary thing, the man who did the u/s was the doctor and he explained the whole thing to me as he was doing it, so I got to see the spots. So when he shuffled me out after having seen these I was shocked. Wouldn't you think he has some ethical obligation to tell me what to do, what if I stoppped breathing from this or had cancer, which I doubt, probably more clogged lymph nodes, but still, makes you wonder how anyone lives through all this stuff! Are you feeling okay? Nan > > > > > > > > today because I still have a bad sore spot and can't breathe. > > > Turns > > > > out it is not my thyroid at all, it is my windpipe. Guest guest
Nan, This is that has been responding...not Lynn although I am sure Lynn would make the same comments...right Lynn? Guest guest
An Interview with Ear, Nose, Throat Doctor I said yesterday I thought it would be pulmonology, because the windpipe is connected to the lungs, but this area is treated by ENT. I guess if it was a problem located closer to the lungs, it would be pulmonary. This site explains it well. Hugs DSee what's free at AOL.com. Guest guest
Nan, I am so mixed on that. I would call a pulmonary office and ask them if they see people for windpipe masses, if so, fo in and see them, if not, then call a ENT. Today after looking that mans site up, i thought , sure, maybe, my gut goes with my first suggestion, pulmonary. Blessings to you, how are you feeling today? Hugs DSee what's free at AOL.com. Guest guest
Nan... not sure if you meant this response for or me. I did respond to an earlier post and we are on the same page. I think he would have an ethical duty to find somebody to help you if he can't, you shouldn't have to do this! I can only imagine the anxiety he must have caused you. I am happy Dr. Kolb is involved, I really think that she'll lead you to the right doctor (it may be her)... Guest guest
, you are right I hadn't even read your post yet and I also said ENT (I think I called it a EENT on accident).
