Guest guest
Do you all just weigh once a week?? Nope, twice a day. I use it to gauge myself. I weigh before bed, and then in the morning. And you know, it probably isn't good. But it's a visual "reminder" of sorts for me. And for me, it helps... if it goes up more than 2 pounds I make better choices that day, or whatever... Try not to let your mind wander... It is too small and fragile to be out by itself.
Guest guest
WOW, what a great list, !!! I've printed it, so that I can read over it more closely. I've been on the computer way to long this evening, and I can't focus anymore. I'm going to read over it and highlight the ones that I need to address. Right off the bat, I can see that number 27 is a real problem for me..... 27. Weigh only once a week-Weighing more often than this is an unreliable measure of fat loss and is likely to set you up for disappointment. ONCE A WEEK??!!! Gee whiz, I'm embarrassed to even admit how often I step on the scale. I'm a little more than obsessed. I sometimes even weigh myself in the middle of the night, when I get up to pee. I flush the toilet and turn the sink water faucet on so my hubby doesn't hear me getting on the scale. Do you all just weigh once a week?? Just wondering, Janet

Janet, I use to be just like you but after finding out just how much body weight can fluctuate from one hour to the next I stopped. You can go up and down several pounds without eating a bite or drinking anything. I threw out my scale at home and only weigh in at Tops. I really don't need a scale at home to tell me other I have been a " bad girl " or not. I know it the second I swallow. I'm afraid that if I didn't get on the scale every day, it would be out of sight and out of mind.
Guest guest
I weight 4 times a week. I weigh M T W and TH morning before I take my shower and after the bathroom break. I wear in the nude and scare away the roaches and spiders. I have always weighed like this. I can always tell Monday morning if I'll lose or not. Never fails and my scale weighs 1 lb. more than TOPS so I always know our scale is calibrated. -----Original Message-----From: Hamilton & Feeser Sent: Friday, March 05, 2004 11:49 PMTo: TexasTOPS Subject: Re: 100 Great Weight Loss Tactics WOW, what a great list, !!!
