Guest guest
wouldn't touch the hamburgers, and actually cried for more muffins. But, I thought to try eggs and he ate FOUR of them. However, I did put a pinch (literally) of cheese on them. I bet thats not allowed, lol. Right? He can't have juice even if watered way down, right? He won't drink the tea and water alone. But, I had watered down his bottle to 2 oz of juice and 7 oz. water ... sometimes only 1 oz juice. Also, he LOVES bananas ... when might I be able to add those? Last but not least, I had wanted to make the chicken soup ... those of you in Indy, can I get something at Marsh chicken-wise to do that? I am an hour from Trader Joes and Wild Oats!!! Is there a special brand or something there (Marsh)??? Thanks again for help everyone. (2.5 ASD, 6.5 mo SCD 1 day)
Guest guest
Hi , Yay! for eggs! Will he eat hamburger if made into meatballs? Or take some cooked carrots, egg and ground beef and making little meat balls? If cheese gets him to eat that's okay. Better without, but you are doing fine. > wouldn't touch the hamburgers, and actually cried for more > muffins. Legal apple cider or grape (Welch's) juice diluted to half juice and half water are on the intro diet Also, he LOVES bananas ... when might I > be able to add those? When I make chicken soup I buy a pack of chicken thighs withj the skin on and bone-in. The skion and bones give the best flavour. When I pour off the broth. I put it in the fridge or freezer and when hardened skim away most of the fat. Then I add the meat from the bones and carrots back to the broth. Hope this helps. Guest guest
, The Welch's grape and the Dole pineapple are both allowed on intro (I believe)..... but diluted at least 50%. My book is out in the car or I'd look it up...... and I'm needing to rush but you might check on the pecanbread.com website and look at the intro diet recommendations there. You can start using ripe bananas right after intro....... and you only need to do a day or two of intro. Cheese is usually introduced later..... only dry curd cottage cheese is normally used on intro (for those who tolerate dairy)..... but is legal if you're using one of the legal varieties. Any chicken that has no additives..... no basting solutions or sugars or marinade, etc....... is fine.
