Hello Everyone,

We are finding at rehab that I can be fairly active on 5L Constant Flow. But, when I use Pulse on 5L, my saturation falls. That is why I have been having such a hard time when I try to go shopping, etc. When I turn mine (I have a M6 tank with a regulator) to Constant it is actually only putting out 2L. We tested 3 different models and all of them were the same. In order for me to get 5L I am going to have to go to Liquid.....and I hate liquid. I hate the freezing up, the unrealiability, and the fact that there are no back up tanks. Even if you have two of them, the things run out of gas whether you use them or not.

Question: Do any of you have a regulator/conserver that goes to 5L Continuous ...and actually gives 5L.???

Joyce, I bought a conserving regulator from a company Tri-Med, The owner is Ray Roman, give him a call and see what he can find for you. He was very helpful to me. Tell him I said Hi..

Joyce,

I have a conserver by Victor Medical that can supply me with up to 6 liters per minute continuous from a tank. (I can switch that one from continuous to conserve) I also have two plain old continuous flow regulators. One that goes up to 8 liters per minute and one that goes all the way up to 15 liters per minute. All these were supplied to me by Praxair, my O2 provider. They attach to a regular O2 tank, not the liquid. I have the same issues with liquid that you do so I understand.

I'm sure you'll be able to find something without having to change the system you use. They are out there!!

Beth,

Will you see if you can find the model number on the conserver. I found the site, but there are so many products. Help!

Joyce,

Well it took a flashlight and a magnifying glass but I've got the model # off this thing. It's the second one I've had from Praxair. (I dropped the first one...) It's a pneumatic type that does not use batteries. It provides up to 6 lpm either conserve or continuous.

The model # is O2NDEMANDIII-870. It also has a Part # 0781-3076.

Let me know if there's anything else you need. Hope that helps!
