Guest guest
Yes and this could be why we all have felt better after explant....but reach a point where we are not getting better or go further down hill. I am sure they do this because the surgery is " a shock " to our system and would tax our adrenal glands. However, I would have liked to have been told that it was in the IV. I felt GREAT after my surgery and this is probably why. Interesting. > > ~ > In all my surgeries, there is sol-u-medrol listed in the reports.........yuk > ! ! > > > > ************************************** See what's free at http://www.aol.com. >
Guest guest
I hate the fact that when you have surgery, you have no clue what is really going on or what they give you. I know when I had my nose surgery to fix a fracture, they packed my nose in cocaine, I would have preferred not ! ! ! ! I would have never known had I not gotten copies of my records ! ! Guest guest
my memory and fog was gone for a monthnow... its all back... no memory.. all foggy all dayanxiety and dizziness. im sure its due to my diet..the mold or biotoxins cant grow back can they?i just hope this is fixable. im very sad. I have to wake up naturally on my own or my brain feels like someone shook it up. I think it is not just my thyroid but I think like some of you other ladies it is adrenal exhaustion, everything I am reading here about the two sounds like what I am experiencing, plus the low iodine, I have been painting it again and it is gone from my stomach in 20 minutes, also under my tongue I have these purple blood spots that look like leeches, really weird just popped up after the Doc took me off the thyroid meds as well as being hypoglcemic. Weird new symptoms, I go in tomorrow for new thyroid testing since being off thyroid meds for two weeks, I have been so tired. He will probably say the blood spots are nothing, they look like leeches there are like three of them under my tongue. Guest guest
thanks pattywhy the honeymoon period? On 4/2/07, glory2glory1401 <glory2glory1401@...> wrote: Gretchen, It very well may be due to your diet, but not exclusively. We have what I call a " honeymoon period " after explant in which many women experience a welcome relief of all or many of their symptoms. But that honeymoon period ends and the symptoms return, sometimes in full force and even with additional ones about 6 weeks post op. I experienced that after my explant, and then the long, slow process of recovery really began. You may have experienced a honeymoon period and are now going to begin the slow process of full recovery, and attention to your diet will be important, as well as other supportive therapies. It often takes over a year for women to begin to see real healing. Patty > > > > > > > > > > > > I found out yesterday I am in stage 5 of adrenal fatique. Guest guest
thanks sandra. im sad because im so confused and cognitively challenged. i was better for a month after surgery.. just had LOTS of pain (that i cant even feel now since im so foggy). i should have appreciated it then since most of my fog and memory loss was gone. well i can remember up till st patricks day.. then i lost my memory again. i dont know if its yeast back with avengance since i didnt do the diet right or im getting implant sickness again? can it grow back? i dont recognize myself in the mirror again and nothing around me looks familiar and i get lost in my apt again. i was driving and talking to friends again... now im so confused and not myself.. i dont remember anything and living in a fog. its very scary to think thats gone for a whole month and then anxiety bursts, fog, every symptom is coming back 1 by 1 like i got implants again. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > I found out yesterday I am in stage 5 of adrenal > fatique. Guest guest
Gretchen, This yeast can continue to recur your entire life. I have completely changed my diet to fight it. Yes, it can come back with a vengeance and it will, and only the diet and anti-fungals will get rid of it. Nothing else will ever do it. Many of us have been in your shoes and we continue to tell you the same thing. Do the diet, don't cheat on it, and take the anti-fungals. Guest guest
Hi Gretchen, Once they are gone I don't think anything can grow back. You had a wonderful doctor, Dr. Kolb. I am sure she would have removed everything (capsules and all). You may want to go visit a neurologist to figure out what is going on? I have my implants and I have horrible brain fog, but I still go to work, I still drive a car, I still live life. Is it difficult, heck yeah!! I am darn right exhausted by the time I get home. I have no choice though. I have bills, I have a mortgage and my husband depends on my income as well as his. Honey, please go and seek medical help if you are not getting better. Better yet, call or write Dr. Kolb. Are you on any medications for Anxiety or Depression? I am, and I know that both meds can cause brain fog. Also, my thyroid is a mess right now - I believe that can cause brain fog as well. Please try to rest, relax and stop focusing on the negatives. I would try to rule out any medical issues with my brain though - whether you get lab tests or scans. I know that trusting our medical doctors is HARD but tests don't lie. If something is not normal, they can tell you. They may not be able to tell you why, or offer the right treatment (personal opinion) but they can tell you if a lab is outside the normal range. The piece of mind from knowing things are normal seems to help me as well. Lynn > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > I found out yesterday I am in stage 5 of adrenal > > fatique. Guest guest
my brain fog is so bad i cant work ;(On 4/2/07, spinkscl <spinkscl@...> wrote: Hi Gretchen, Once they are gone I don't think anything can grow back. Guest guest
I have recently started looking into adrenal fatigue as a possible cause of my problems because I have recently been tested for serum copper and ceruloplasmin levels in my blood and urine. They both came out low, which can be an indicator of 's disease, but from what I have read online that can be a sign of low adrenal activity. Anyone know about correction of copper levels or adrenal function and what symptoms it helps with? greg
Guest guest
A good source of information about adrenal fatigue is www.adrenalfatigue.com --- dreaminginnoother <dreaminginnoother@...> wrote: > I have recently started looking into adrenal fatigue > as a possible > cause of my problems because I have recently been > tested for serum > copper and ceruloplasmin levels in my blood and > urine. Guest guest
Greg; I encourage people to view adrenal fatigue as an effect rather than a cause. One cause of adrenal fatigue is toxin load; the effect, being the adrenal fatigue, can certainly induce confounding complications, but it's seldom NOT caused by other factors.
