It cold also be that you need an adjustment to your fentanyl patch level, too. If the pain is being covered by the patch for the full three days, then either your doc needs to increase the patch strength or give you something like oxycodone to try for break through pain. So far he just keeps excusing the pain as fibro pain and won't discuss upping my medicine. I may get another opinion or a new doctor. He's been great as far as giving me medicine when I needed it but won't discuss changing the medicine to higher doses now that it's not working so well.
