Just watched the ball drop to usher in 2002 with my 3

sons here in Virginia. In the morning we drive back

to wintry Pennsylvania. Found out that just after we

left there, there was a white-out that caused a 50-car

pile-up!

Had a very nice luncheon in the " Chop Shop " with

Eunice today! She is as sweet in person as she is on

the list!

14 now with the wind chill. I had to go out at 1:30 AM to pick up my

son and I dressed in layers. Takes a while for the car to warm up!

I was toasty though! Actually, my husband had cleaned out his closit

and was getting rid of stuff. Well, I went through it and took out

what I liked! Nice fleece pullovers that I can wear around the house

that are really comfy and a very warm vest he used to wear to work.

No way was that leaving here! I wore it out tonight and it was

definitely warm!

Glad you made it out of your area before that white out hit. That and

fog are really dangerous.

The Chop Shop, very cute name! Glad you and Eunice finally got to

meet!!! That was nice! I am sure she is just like she sounds on

here! Hoping to meet her soon too.

Have a safe journey home, hope the weather is good for you.

I watched the ball drop too, that is our usual New Year's eve

excitement! Also saw the fireworks from our city here on the TV,

they were awesome!
