Hi Phyllis, The same thing happens here in VA. It is unreal. Snow is predicted for tomorrow night but not sure we will get it. It may go east of us. I believe it is predicted again Sunday. Don't tell my hubby, but I'm ready for snow. He hates it. Eunice
Guest guest
Hi Phyllis, we live in . Right above you. Didn't realize you were so close. And you are right, people here don't know how to drive in the snow. We shut down, lol - let in snow > Where in NC do you live? I am in the Raleigh-Durham area. I hope we get > 2 feet of snow. Guest guest
After the 2 foot we got year before last, I am not sure I am ready for more. I would like to see a little though. Guest guest
--- Mention snow here and its the same, the markets are flooded with people buying everything not nailed down! And we get snow every year! I would not miss snow. I should have been born a Southerner! Love Currier and Ives paintings of snow scenes, that is good enough for me! I tend not to drive in it unless I really have to! I can take a bus to work and since I believe in being well prepared, the pantry is always full even to having dry milk in case I can't get to the store. The weather people here also panic the public I think. Sometimes the predictions are worse than the actual event! I have learned to be wary of " just flurries " (usually hit with a big one then!) They just forgot to say how many flurries!!! Madge In diabetes@y..., Phyllis Norwood <phyllis@t...> wrote: > Where in NC do you live? I am in the Raleigh-Durham area. I hope we get > 2 feet of snow.
