Did you up it back up to 20mg after trying to go back down to 15 and feeling worse? I'm hoping Diagnos-Techs will get my saliva tests done on a timely basis. I heard a few complaints about them on another group, and I would think they would have my results this week posted on Canary club. Is that the only way to get the results from them? Guest guest
Hi there! I have been feeling pretty good, thanks! I have cut back to 25mg HC from 35mg. I am feeling much better, and wondering if I maybe don't need the support anymore? I am still quite hypo though, and will stay on HC while I increase my Armour dose. ) I did notice an immediate improvement on the HC, but needed more than the 20mg. (I was on 35mg) I have been on it since October of last year, and have just now lowered my dose. Do you think you are going to try it? ----- > > > > > ---------------------------------> See what's free at AOL.com. > > > > > > ---------------------------------> Ahhh...imagining that irresistible "new car" smell?> Check outnew cars at Autos.> Ahhh...imagining that irresistible "new car" smell?Check out new cars at Autos. Guest guest
, I am trying some herbal supplements currently as I work my way through the Feeling Fat, Fuzzy and Frazzled book and wait for my test results. I have the Isocort but have only take a few pellets recently, and have added the Licorice and DHEA. I have noticed more headaches, but overall have felt pretty good. I do want to stick with herbal remedies at this point since I know I've healed well. If I had any adrenal issues when I first got sick (and I believe I certainly did...I had an abnormal cortisol test in 1998.) I think they have healed on their own as I've supported them through my detoxing and nutritional efforts unknowingly. My focus was more on the thyroid since being diagnosed with Hashimoto's. If I have any test results that indicate any trouble, then I will seek a doctors help, and if I don't get that, I will self treat. But I am hoping that my test results are fine! Having Hashimoto's, I really do need to be getting regular testing and I've sorely neglected that. I know now that I will have to monitor this for the rest of my life. I just want to stay one step ahead of the game, and I know that having Hashimoto's means a bigger chance of having other autoimmune conditions in the future, so I would never assume that any adrenal issues I may have had are really entirely gone. I don't think we can ever go back to taking our health for granted. And if the government makes it hard for us all to get those supplements we need, I'll just have to be fully informed on self treating anyway, because I will not bow down to their oppressive ways! Take care, PattyJuLiE <jdebolt@...> wrote: Hi there! I have been feeling pretty good, thanks! I have cut back to 25mg HC from 35mg. Guest guest
Patty, It was IMMEDIATE and I was so grateful ! I can not tell you how excited I was to feel like ME ! It was truly the answer to my prayers these last 3 years! I am still holding at 15 and feel better since starting the antibiotic. One of the reasons I wanted to go lower....is there may be some times I may need to " stress dose " . They say if you get really sick or have extremely stressful events to stress dose by 2.5 to 5.0 mgs. I would rather be lower than 20mgs on a daily basis in the event I ever need to do this. Plus there is less chance of shutting my adrenals down. After I get over the sinus infection, I may go lower. Lowering by 2.5 mgs a week...is the recommendation. I want to find the " minimal " dose I feel good on. I could have done it in the opposite direction...which is recommended on STTM site. To start with 2.5, adding by 2.5 increments. But it would have taken me weeks to have felt anything. Plus, this is not what my doctor told me to do and I was at 20mgs before thinking much about it. Guest guest
Patty, It took a week and a half after they " received " my test. I checked it daily to see if results were there and was able to print it online. They also mailed a copy to me which I got later. I don't know of any other way to get your results. What day did they receive yours? I hope you get it soon!!!! for me to > > Neuroscience: Re: Role of adrenal physiology in brain > function > > shows some > connections.......................................................... > ............. > > we are having a nice storm here........love the > thunder............. > > Hugs to all ~ D > > > > > > > > > > --------------------------------- > > See what's free at AOL.com. > > > > > > > > > > > > --------------------------------- > > Ahhh...imagining that irresistible " new car " smell? > > Check outnew cars at Autos. > > > > > > > > > --------------------------------- > Ahhh...imagining that irresistible " new car " smell? > Check outnew cars at Autos. >
