Guest guest
Today was such a fun day for me. First I had a wonderful appointment with a plastic surgeon up in Orange. His name is Dr. Kent. He was so professional and up front and honest about the outcome of my brachioplasty. He said my arms are one of the worst cases of excess skin he had ever seen. He also said, more than once, that the excess skin fold pattern on my upper arms! I watched him sketch out his proposed incision pattern and feel very confident in his surgical skills. I am sooo ready to let go of these batwings. After I consult with my Dad later tonight I will decise on my choice of surgeon. That was only half of a great day! I met Jodi bb for lunch and enjoyed her sage advice on life and our girl talk! Stuff happens but that only makes the good things in life so much more enjoyable! Hope everyone had a great day! Guest guest
Oh Robyn that is just awesome. Im so glad you are moving ahead again with your plastics. I remember how much you were looking forward to getting them done back over Christmas time! I want to pinch you tho for having lunch with Jodi bb..two of my favorite people having lunch WITHOUT ME AGAIN!! *weeps* Oh well..I made a very unfortunate little old lady very happy with my company today. Another reason I enjoy home health. There are just so many lonely elderly out there that just need someone to talk to. Her happiness was around losing another 12#s! She has now lost 78#s since last April and I got to hear the happiness in her scream when she finally broke the cursed 250# mark! She almost fell over crying..and I just about went along with her! HA!! :-) But next time, I want a photo of me on the table and a picture of the three of us (and everyone else that might come) TOGETHER! HA! Hgus to you my friend. Thank you for sharing your day with us. Kat

Guest guest
Its good to hear that your news is sounding good. It must feel good to be getting those annoying flappers taken care of. You'll be rockin' those sleeveless dresses in no time. Toi > > Today was such a fun day for me. > > First I had a wonderful appointment with a plastic surgeon up in > Orange. His name is Dr. Kent. But, I am trying to avoid my batwings because I have heard these are the hardest. <<feel very confident in his surgical skills.>> This is so important. <<Stuff happens but that only makes the good things in life so much more enjoyable!>> Amen! Guest guest
Robyn Glad to hear that your day went so well--most people don't feel so strongly about ANY kind of doctor--must be a good sign! > > Today was such a fun day for me. > > First I had a wonderful appointment with a plastic surgeon up in > Orange. Guest guest
Oh Gawd I wish! But I just don't see that happening. I have to work and its not like i can make a day trip. Its a good 10-11 drive for me each way plus the kids..I think I would shoot myself..not to meantion every penny I have that doesn't go to kids and household is getting dumped into my money pit in the attemtps to have it ready for placing on the market shortly..then there is a trip I still have to make back to Mass sometime BEFORE Im supposed to move (with the kids..now that is another expense I can't afford right now lol)..see a trend here? Im working extra now plus an average of 45 hours extra a week on call just to recover from missing 6 months of last year of work and to get my homes remodel finished. I really can't see how I can do it. If the sperm donor would actually make his support payments like he is supposed to, it might be a bit easier..but Im on my own up here and at times its tough. :-( You know tho..if there is a way I can, there is definately WILL!! (might be " the reading of my will " at the pace Im currently keeping tho! HA!) Kat
