Guest guest
I've searched these sites looking for information about red cheeks and dark circles under eyes as being connected to phenols/salicylates. Do you have somewhere I can read about these being possibly connected? We've been on SCD for just over a week now and my son is doing great - is almost a different child personality-wise. However, this morning he seemed to regress a little and I'm wondering if it was due to eating a non-organic apple at a friends house, which was the only " different " thing he ate in the last few days. Any thoughts? Ann Sam 5 (CD 2 years, SCD 1 week) > These are the lists I go by for Luke because he reacts especially to salicylates, a type of phenols. You could do an online search on phenols and get tons of info back. Every child won't react to everything listed as high or very high, but this might help serve as a reference, anyway. Good luck!!!! > > http://users.bigpond.net.au/allergydietitian/fi/sal.html > > http://www.purr.demon.co.uk/Food/Salicylate.html
