I am on another list where I post my menu each day. It's for weight loss

and not a diabetes list so I get away with murder really...I am going to

start posting here too that way I will really be good with my carbs!!

And calories..It really helps me posting on the diet list..I am doing

much better but not good enough !

Meals for Wed - Jan 23

8 oz water with meds (Tamoxifen and Actonel)

30 minutes later

2 cups of coffee with FF milk

Breakfast - 10:00 am

1/2 cup dry oatmeal cooked with water, SF maple syrup, 1/4 tsp margarine

1/2 grapefruit

cup of coffee with FF milk

(was going to clean house after eating. Instead friend called and we talked

1 hr 15 minutes). I was walking around in the house during this time.

2 hrs after breakfast BG's 92

Multi-vitamin

Snack - 1:30 pm

1/2 apple

slice FF cheese

1 Sugar free cookie

cup of hot tea, with Splenda

Lunch - 3:30 pm

Ham/cheese sandwich (2 slices whole wheat home made)

Mayo

Lettuce

1/2 cup veggie/beef soup

cup of hot green tea, with Splenda

SF jello with teaspoon whipped topping

(exercise was cleaning office)

2 hrs later, BG's 95

Snack - 6:00 pm

1 Ritz Cracker with peanut butter

5 peanuts

4 oz yogurt with Splenda

Cup of hot green tea

Dinner - 8:45

Large salad - spinach, cucumber, broccoli, green pepper, cheese, bacon, Ranch

dressing

4 baked cheese crackers

4 oz SF pudding

Cup of hot tea

2 hrs later after dinner and bedtime -BG's 82

81 mg aspirin before bed

Water total - about 32 ounces, not including all the coffee/tea

Going to have to do this again. My numbers are not always this low.

Hi ,

I think so far only Pam and I have posted our menus. I really would like to

see some more posted. If Wednesday was not convenient, by all means choose

your day, weekday or weekend and let us know what you are eating. It will

give all of us new ideas.

Your list owner was very sick to the tummy that day,

so I couldn't begin to write what I ate. Even my

little Shih Tzu became ill. Didn't go to rehab, they

said several others called in with tummy problems

also!

Maybe we can try another day.
