Sometimes I need to shake things up to remember that this is where I truly want to be. I hate feeling hungover and like @#$%. But because of 1. & 2. I need to be reminded. > __________________________________________________

Guest guest
Hi Karl and welcome to the list Start taking L-glutamine right now and that might help when the cravings hit. Take it before the cravings hit...and take it at bedtime. I have also read that something called L-phenylalanine helps with hunger, but I have never tried it. Do you take a potassium supplement? That helps with the weak and crappy feeling...also eating salad. Best of luck, this time! Joya (Honduras) Exercise today and every day! It will keep you looking and feeling younger throughout your entire life!
Guest guest
Dear Karl. do you think its possible that you insulin needs to be adjusted when you low carb?? most people are able to control their blood sugar without it on this diet.. so maybe you are craving carbs because of a too high level of insulin??? perhaps you should monitor it or have it monitored??? Guest guest
Welcome to this list. Don't worry about your previous atempts. Look at them as practice periods. It takes 14 days to make a habit. Just make it 1 day at a time and plan your food carefully so you won't be caught by surprise and for goodness sakes.....eat when you're hungry!! Don't starve yourself so those other foods win. Good luck and keep posting Cassie > >Reply-To: AtkinsChallengersegroups >To: " Me " >Subject: >Date: Tue, 8 Aug 2000 12:15:55 -0700 > >Hello, >Im a type 2 diabetic, about 75 pounds overweight on insulin. >This is going to be my third attempt at lowcarbing it. Guest guest
Hi. I've gotten absolutely no email today from any of the Atkins groups. Does anyone know offhand if there is a problem or is it all mine? :-)
Guest guest
Shanna, It could very well be your internet provider. I had not heard of any problems from anyone else. Hope it is resolved. Guest guest
most microwaves made in the last 10 years have a popcorn setting programmed in. I use that and it seems to work very well.
