Guest guest
>I don't know where I picked up this virus, but wherever it was, I sure wish I hadn't gone there :-) So much for always being sure to wash my hands with lots of soap and water. Back to bed now. Miserable, Whiny Lyndi Hello Lyndi, I would be whiny too. I'm so sorry you are sick. My daughter, has had viral gastroenteritis, another name for the Norovirus. We not so lovingly call this the mug wumps. I told her to go to an Urgent Care last night to see if she needed at least a liter of IV fluids. It had been 72 hours, and she was just barely beginning to sip Gatorade, and munch on a few crackers. My son lives just around the corner, and was going to take her. Washing your hands helps, but I there are just something things that are air borne. Viruses have a mind of their own. I hope you feel better by tomorrow. Many of these viruses are pure Hell, but don't last long. Watch out for dehydration. Let's hope you feel better soon. Here is a link for anyone who wishes to read about the Norovirus: http://tinyurl.com/dblnbt Kaylene PS I just googled mug wumps, and apparently there was a band with that name, and a political group too. Lyndi, I am so sorry you got this. I got a virus in December and could not keep down my morphine and I had to make sure it was annotated, so it doesn't look like I was short. I hope you feel better soon-Good Luck Bennie
