Guest guest
Since it quiet here I will write a little of what is going on in our life. On Nov. 26, 2008 our landlord called and said he lost this house in the court battle he had been in since 2005. So since then we have been waiting for someone to contact us, whether it be new owner or lawyer. Thursday June 25th, addressed to 'all occupants', we got a letter saying that the law office had sent us a letter on Dec 10, 2009 and since we had not paid any rent - if we did not pay we had to vacate in 11 days. I did call the lawyer up and tell them it would be impossible to find handicap-accessible housing in 10 days. It was never our intention to not pay, but there has been no one drive out here to notify us and as far as we knew there had been no contact with us. I have been told also here in Texas that legally we have to be given 30 days after a judge signs an eviction order, which was included in the letter sent back to lawyer with the rent money. As a result of this we will be looking for somewhere to move. I just do not look forward to moving. Some of the difficulty for us in moving is that temporarily I will have 4 German shepherds moving with us. When our daughter and her fiance buy their house, she will take her two. has been overcoming a blood clot in his leg. He is doing better because he is able to walk farther than he could walk 6 weeks ago. I would never have suspected a blood clot or how much it affects a person. I hope I have livened up someone's day. BTW it over 100 on our thermometer today. Lorraine from Dallas TX area
