Guest guest
, Dr. Blais has a range of prices . . . You send your implants AND capsules to him . . . He will contact you and explain your options regarding type of report and cost. . . I changed the subject so one of the ladies who has used him recently can give you more information. Dr. Blais lost his job because he took a stand against the Canadian Health Ministry's position on implants. Then he set up his own lab. . . He's a good man . . . He examined thousands of implants. . . Considering what he does, his cost is not unreasonable. If you are considering a law suit, his report would be very important. Just be sure the implants are packaged correctly. . . The ladies here can help you with that . . . And, if you are considering a law suit, you should not take custody of them. i.e., they should be shipped directly from your doctor to him. Perhaps having the packaging ready for him to put the implants into - then having a family member put them in the mail would suffice. Your doctor is buying into the implant industry's garbage. . . Best wishes on your upcoming surgery! . . . We'll keep you in our prayers, Rogene Montuoro <salinesisternmo@...> wrote: Rogene,I haven't written for a little while but I see you on here and followed some of your advise in the beginning. I have some questions, I am getting my explant surgery this Friday. I hooked up with Dr. Shanklin and have been on Plaquenil for a couple of weeks, and got the post surgery meds that he suggested, I requested for my surgeon to send my implants to the doctor in Canada, he said he wouldn't and that it is a hoax, (I said just give them to me-and he said he will)but also asked me how much it costs to get the analysis of the pathology, and I didn't see that anywhere- do you know the costs to know what they find in and on our implants and tissues after explant? Is there anything else you can think of that I haven't done prior to this surgery-that I should? Any help is appreciated. Guest guest
Rogene, I know that you can call Dr. Blais and he will give you a free summary of your report... Then at that time if you wish to get a full report you can, it cost around $400.00 for the best report, you can get a cheaper one, but why? God Bless All ~AOL now offers free email to everyone. Guest guest
Yes...I was quoted 275.00-375.00 so $400.00 is probably safe to assume....it all depends. I agree...go with the more expensive, most extensive report....I am hoping to get mine in the next couple weeks. toxicsalines@... wrote: Rogene, I know that you can call Dr. Blais and he will give you a free summary of your report... Guest guest
3 ~ One of the doctors I worked for would not remove anything without sending it to pathology. He didnt care which lab did it tho, I would imagine the hospital just wants the money. I would tell them you already have a pathologist and want to know what the protocol on sending them directly from surgery. See how they respond. Good luck, I hope they co-operate with you ! ! Guest guest
Rogene, going along with 's questions -- I am getting my explant at Duke Hospital in North Carolina. The staff there said "it is law" that whenever something is removed from the body in surgery, it must be sent to their Pathology department -- and I will be billed separately for this (to the tune of an estimated $500-$1,000). I remember signing this same verbiage at implant time as well, but apparently nothing from my body needed to be sent to pathology. Do you understand this? Could this be a hospital policy or a state policy? If I must submit to this, wouldn't this ruin my chances for Dr. Blais to look at them? Are these questions best left for Dr. Blais to answer? I haven't even broached the subject at my doctor's office. Thanks! (And at some point, I will respond to your other email to me!) 3 No need to miss a message. Get email on-the-go with for Mobile. Guest guest
, Do you live in North Carolina? I am just across the Virginia/North Carolina line...in Virgina! Do you know what their path department is going to actually do to the implants? And when they are thru with them, can they send them for you to Dr. Blais...to keep the chain of evidence in tact??? > > Rogene, > > going along with 's questions -- > > I am getting my explant at Duke Hospital in North Carolina. Guest guest
3 Dr. Blais does a more indepth examination . . . grows cultures, etc. He'll be able to tell you the exact microorganisms that are growing in your implants. I can't answer why the mandatory requirements of hospitals. . . but they have to follow procedures. Rogene --- " beingjones@... Guest guest
3, Just getting to older emails . . . I can understand that a doctor/hospital would want pathology to examine tissues removed - for a number of reasons . . . Not many people would think of sending biomaterials to their own pathologist. Is there a way around this? I don't know. Rogene
