Hi Cari.... I'm so glad to hear that did so well with the MRI.

He's such a smart little guy. I do agree with you on the ROCKET word

..... that would be enough to scare any child. I'll keep my fingers

crossed that his MRI comes back normal...

Take care,

Vicki

We received word today that everything on the MRI is

normal. She said only time will tell what is truly

wrong with his leg. I believe there may be some fat

tissue build up, but no damage has been done to the

bone yet. Merry Christmas to us a few days early! I

cried like a baby when we got the news. He is not to

rough house etc... That will be almost impossible!

Talk to everyone later.

Hugs,

Cari

Oh Cari.... what wonderful news. I'm so very thankful that they called

you before Christmas so you wouldn't have to worry.

I guess this is celebration time in your home tonight...Give a hug

for me.

Take care,

Vicki

Ria,

Beautiful name!!! Your prayers are very much

appreciated. With the MRI excitment I didn't get a

chance to welcome you to the group. Welcome! My son

is 4 and was dx with JDMS (juvenile

Dermatomyositis) in Jan. 99. He is doing remarkably

well. He is running, jumping etc. His JDMS hit hard

and fast. Within 3 weeks he was a rag doll with no

muscle strength and in a lot of pain. Your age will

work for you! Congratulations on your recent

graduation. That is a wonderful achievement. Where

do you live? I am in Augusta, GA. It sounds like you

maybe the closest one to me so far.

This is a wonderful group. A part of my daily life as

much as the family and friends I get to see in person.

is a patient at MCG. We are blessed with an

incredible Juvenile Rheumotologist.

Hugs and welcome,

Cari and - JDMS

hi cari,

I am glad to know that your son is doing well. I am from New York, I

just went to college in S.C. I will be returning home on tomorrow. So even

though I am just getting to know everyone, I am going to have to take a

brief leave of absence from the web until I get everything straight at home.

Take care of yourself and your family.

easy,

ria
