Guest guest
Hi All, continues to do well on the SCD in most areas. But his poop volume is very excessive. Although they are mostly formed..some are " snaky " looking. But he poops more than his 200lb dad and only weighs 39lbs. Any suggestions?? Guest guest
My whole family (me, my husband and 4 kids) all went on the diet together. My youngest 2 are celiac - one is NT one is autistic. We have all experienced this. I remember the first few weeks I was surprised every time I went to the bathroom as to the quantity. I assume this is from the body getting cleared out. I have also noticed that I do not have as much warning as before. One minute I feel fine and the next I feel very uncomfortable. This has gotten better over the last 2 months. I am on the diet in support of my sons, to lose weight and for overall health. I do not have any GI problems. > Hi All, > > continues to do well on the SCD in most areas. But his poop > volume is very excessive. Although they are mostly formed..some > are " snaky " looking. Guest guest
---No my hubby is not on the diet but has IBS bad so he should be. had diarrea from the day he was born. Like I said now we get trophies and some " snakes " but the volume is scary. Dr Buie has just re-recommended creon for both my kids....Thanks for your response. Any thoughts? Guest guest
Hi Donna, Is doing well other than the " volume " . He has trophies now, correct? Does he have a large appetite? I am pretty sure that was one of the things I went through but now my weight, appetite, bowels, general health and yes " output " have all stabilized. It just took some time. Is using probiotics or yogurt -nut, goat or cow? Probiotics helped but I found that yogurt made a huge difference for me. From what I read creon is a combination of lipase, protease, and amylase. Maybe others more familiar with enzymes can help with that. Sheila, SCD 36 mos, UC 20 yrs mom of SCD 20 mos > > Hi Donna, > > > > Is you husband on the diet?
