Hi! Hope everyone is doing well this evening. IT RAINED TODAY! First time in months. This week I went to the PREP rehab exercise class four times. But am still not losing weight hardly at all. I get to a point and fluctuate within a five pound range. This morning at 6:00 am, I was on the high end. After all of that exercising! Pooh! I have been up since 6:00 am this morning and now I know how my husband feels. He wants to go to bed early and I like to stay up and watch Jay Leno, which I hope I will still be awake for tonight since Paris Hilton has been sent back to jail.

I tried a new natural therapy today. I had made an appointment yesterday to have an Ionic footbath. When I got there, they asked me if I had had a stent implanted in my body. I then remembered I have a filter, which is like a stent in the stomach region which was placed there to prevent blood clots from forming in the legs and going to the lungs. Of course I don't remember when I got this because I was on the ventilator. I had had an Ionic footbath back in October and the water did not turn any color. ( It is suppose to turn all sorts of colors, even black because it is eliminating impurities in the body) At that time, they assumed I was all stopped up. Well, today I thought it would be interesting to find out if I am still stopped up. The doctor there told me that they had just found out that people who have stents can have these stents move from their location in the body and cease to function. So I cannot have the Ionic footbath anymore. And last fall I was probably not stopped up. Instead I had a session of Reflexology, which is the science of manipulation to control points in the foot to improve circulation, restore blood flow, and ease pain. The massage therapist pointed out to me that the tender places that I had in my feet involved my chest and my lower back. I told him to work real well on the lung part of the foot. It was one of the most relaxing 30 minutes of my life. Next Friday I am going back for another session which will include my feet and my hands.

For those who want to know: An ionic footbath is an instrument for detoxifying the body and balancing the energy fields which enhance vitality. I have also done the Colenz twice but I don't really want to do that one again.

My dog, Max, also had something happen to him this week that really tramatized him. The other day around lunchtime I was in the kitchen and he was out in the back on the 20 ft chain. As soon as I had put him outside on the chain again ( and again) he wanted to come back in and he was bleeding on top of his head. I got him to get up on my bed so he would let me look and lo and behold, he had a cut and bleeding place on his throat. He would not let me touch those areas. I put him to bed in his kennel and went to exercise. I came back later and let Max out in the house and he was not himself. He laid around all afternoon. Very unusual for Max as he is very hyper and barks a lot. A few hours later he started barking again and returned to normal. Then tonight after we went out to eat, he scratched his throat cut and got it bleeding again. I think that a cat got ahold of Max and it really traumatized him. Please pray for him. I know this sounds silly but adopting Max a year ago has really saved my life. I am way more active because of Max.

I want to get more motivated to get things done around the house, but I just don't do them. I don't want to be this way at all. Sometimes I wish I could have a real good cry but I can't cry. And I really want to cry.
