Thank you Dede, I hope your appointment goes well.

I am very relieved after visiting the Chiropractor this morning.

He was brilliant!! That is something for here I can tell you.

He told me I am a complicated case but not one that he cannot help, thank goodness.

I gave him my history regarding the implants, operations etc and he believes in natural healing too which helps.

I cannot remember everything he told me but generally this is what he said,

My skull is not sitting in its right place - he didn't put it like that but that's what he meant lol

My head is lop sided,

The pains I was having behind my ears which I thought were glands are not glands but something to do with the vertebrae

My pelvis is not straight.

My jaw is out of line - probably from when my ex smacked me one.

Your neck should be curved, mine is straight.

AND he tested my adrenals (I never even mentioned them) using a blood pressure testing

And he says mine are not functioning properly.!!! He also did some other test on my back and stomach which also pinpointed Adrenal problems

The pain in my shoulder is due to blood not getting to a particular muscle.

All in all, a fruitful outcome. He did lots of investigations including using laser beams. I had to wear goggles and felt like from the CSI team lol

My next appointment is Monday to begin treatment. Can't wait.

At least I now know I am NOT a hyprocondriate!!! You begin to feel like one with so many symptoms and aches and pains.

He said I must feel dreadful but he said when he is finished with me I would feel like a new woman and I believe him. I told him about the Isocort and he said Yes, take it. He doesn't know of it but after mentioning our group and that it had been recommended, he said to take it as we girls on the group seem to have a lot of knowledge. I think he was surprised that I even knew what and where my adrenals were. Had it not been for this group, I wouldn't have had a clue!!

Katy, neither did I !!! Lol. I have had to fight with so many doctors etc here

Including my explant surgeon that I thought I was through with them all.

I now have renewed faith!! He really does seem to know his stuff. Will keep you posted.

She is my renal, ( kidney) doctor. I have been in renal failure a few times. I have seronegative Lupus, meaning a negative ANA, but I do have a positive dna and dna titer for it. Been treated for it since 1994, off and on. It is an expensive diagnoses to have..........especially with no insurance. Anyway, she told me that she thinks all my edema is from my reduced kidney function, and told me I am in stage II renal disease, and no longer acute, where it comes and goes, and she thinks it is the lupus that caused it, and not the heart, although the heart makes it worse. Boo Hoo, but the upside is that she feels my kidneys would handle a surgery to have the bombs out, now I need to ck with a cardio. Stage II is still in the mild disease arena, so that is good . I wonder how many thyroid gals also have decreased kidney or liver function.....it would be interesting to know. Anyway, whe is goin to run a few tests on me, an am cortisol, a aldosterone, renin, 24 hr urine aldosterone, 24 hr urine metanephrines, and a renal panel . I have to go off all my meds for a week before the test is done. Pituitary Network Association - ck out the whole site, puts some things together.
