I work in a school and am very worried about infection because my white cells go so far down. I did'nt want to be around all the germs that come into a store. I had a great disability insurance so it was no problem. My job was never in jeopardy. Guest guest Posted September 20, 2002 Report Share Posted September 20, 2002 Hi Adrienne, My white cells kept dropping during chemo as well....I had several iguanas and dragon lizards and the doctor made me get rid of them all because of infection....I think he would have tossed the husband too but didn't dare <smile>....He advised me not to go to work or ANYPLACE there would be people....Said the risk of infection was too great....
