Krista,

I am only about 4 and a half weeks past LMP, today I am 4 days late, and

there is still no sign at all of AF arriving, so I am really confused.

I am still very nauseaous all the time, and very tired. My doc. said

that physically it looked like all the signs were there, but all the

tests have been neg. so far, which is what confuses me. I did have a

strange O thing this month, and I thought that I was O'ing a second time

about 3 days after the first one,but even if I did O truly the second

time and not the first, I would now be one day late, so AF is late

either way. What is the earliest that a blood test can detect a pg.? No

one can really give me a straight answer, but I just want to know, so

that I can weigh up the odds.

The pains are better today, just a mild ache really, so I guess that is

a good sign, still little comfort though. I will phone my doc. again

tomorrow afternoon and just check on the arrangements for Friday. The

thing is, remember last month I had that mid-cycle bleeding thing? It

lasted about 4 or 5 days starting on CD#12, and I also had these horrid

pains. The doc. then said it was O pains, and scarring that caused the

bleeding, but now I am worried that maby it all started then. I had the

same thing with my last ep. AF before seemed normalish, but also with

some mid-cycle spotting, and then next month no AF, and I think 2 neg.

urine tests and a neg. blood test, and a week after that, I was in

surgery. I am trying to stay pos. and not get to freaked out, but it is

hard, I am sure you understand, you just keep on getting these flash

backs to the last time, and it is scary.

Anyways, thank you for your support, I will keep you up to date.

Re: pg

Sonja,

How scary for you. How many weeks past LMP would you be? Sorry, I have

such

a hard time keeping up.

As for IVF, don't feel that is your only option right now. See what the

tests say, okay?

Chin up.

Take care,

Krista

Sonja,

What you are going through sounds really scary. I have a question though.

Have you told your dr that it seems the same as your previous ep. Or has

s/he expressed remembering the last one. Doctors have lots of patients and

may not remember the specific details unless s/he checked back through your

records. My point in this is maybe they can find a way to test if it is

presenting the same way. I don't really know. It is just a suggestion.

I am really praying that things start going better. Just make sure you stick

with the bedrest until you are advised otherwise.

Sonja:

Hang in there sweetie. I am praying that all will be well with you soon and

that you will have some answers (especially the one you want so much) on

Friday.

You are in my thoughts and prayers. Try to take it easy and not worry too

much between now and then (I know, easier said than done).

Much love,

I agree with . The hpt's are most reliable from the day after you

miss your period. They say the day your period is late. Did you say what

kind you are going to take? Some are more sensitive than others. On the

babydata.com site they have a list of tests and their hcg sensitivity. For

example, confirm 1 Step, CVS (shocking), and One step be sure all detect 25

HCG. Clearblue easy and E.P.T. detect 40 and 50 . First response detects

100. Fact plus detects 150-250. Of couse I'm not saying these are

accurate. Like I said earlier, the day I took mine I was at 235 and my line

was very faint on the clearblue easy. Go figure.

Just my input.

Thanks! It does suck. But I'm on CD4. A week to go until the next bd fest.

Keep your fingers crossed.

Re: pg

Dear Tara,

That SUCKS! Excuse my word choice, but it just does! There is no reason for

AF to show herself in the Correia household this month! I will keep my

fingers crossed

and in the meantime, if she does show up, then that's just a week and a half

or so before the BD!

Love,

How did you know I was a Pamprin addict? I really needed it this month and

it worked. My mood was doing pretty good by Sunday.

We will try again this month, but I am not getting my hopes up. (I know, I

know, easier said than done). When I first started ttc, I was so sure of

myself, that it would be a cinch. I am going to just try and relax and

stick to our plan. I just want one. I'm not being greedy. We're already

raising 2, so a family of 3 is doable. Hopefully God is listening.

Re: pg

Tara,

I'm sorry to hear about the AF symptoms. I'm waiting for my

disappointment,

too.

When you talked about your DHs ex, I strongly believe that what goes

around,

comes around. I've actually seen it happen and I know it to be true. Even

if we don't see the results, I know in my heart that these evil people

won't

get away with that.

Every time I see something about parents or guardians or whatever, abusing

children, it makes me want to go up to them and throw them off of something

very tall. I ask myself how these people can pump kids out left and right

when there are loving people out there in the world that would give their

right arm to be blessed with a child.

I hope you have a quick AF so you can try again. The disappointment sucks.

(Sorry for the term, but it describes my feelings exactly!) The stress

(repeat)! The hole inside your heart (repeat)! I am blessed with a child

but

still feel an emptiness. Our family isn't complete yet. I know some

people

are happy with one child, but we wanted two and I want my daughter to have

a

sibling. I also don't like the idea of my fertility being compromised. It

makes me feel vulnerable and incomplete.

Well, enough rambling. Just take some extra strength Pamprin (they take my

cramps away and mellow me out) and do something for yourself. :)

Oh You are CD#4, sorry I didn't read that post before I sent my reply

in. I am CD#5 so we really are in this together.(I actually started on

Thursday, but it was just after 4, so I guess I should count Friday as

the first day)Also patiently waiting for the bd. fest to begin.

Bad thing is though, that my dh. is now working nights, so I can see us

missing the crucial days this month.(although, my son is now at

playschool in the mornings, so we can always fit a day session in here

or there) Listen to us planning sex like a school outing.LOL :)

Well take care
